Virtual Console games. Puyo puyo Sega Genesis release on the VC is beast!
My Wii has been soft modded and I’ve been playing TvC, GG, Orochi Saga (mostly 98), Samurai Shodown 1 and 2. I did download Puyo Puyo 2 when it came out on the VC I’m addicted to it’s Vs. mode. I like it a lot more than Puzzle Fighter.
Just wait for an announcement for GGAC on XBLA/PSN. Bet on it.

So I’ve been a little bored with Street Fighter lately and decided to pick up Accent Core Plus because I’ve never played a GG game and I’m really loving it so far.
The lack of GG discussion saddens me. Decided to get GGAC+ on the PSP for the hell of it, I need something to practice on while riding to tournaments.
What is there to discuss?
Its an expansion pack that includes two boss characters that are not permitted in tourneys, throw-away modes and some artwork.
It doesn’t tweak anything gameplay-wise, doesn’t affect tourney play, so for people that already have the original and play it for what it is, it is little more than a novelty and I would go so far as to say it is borderline redundant/worthless.

For the most part you’re right. I just like taking random moments to generate interest for GG. If this thread stayed active maybe more people will pick up GGAC+ for the hell of it and end up liking it, who knows.
Yeah I did that. AC+ is sweet if you don’t already have AC.
I already have AC and Im STILL thinking about buying +. I would so buy it but I need a PS2/ BC PS3, and i dont really have the money since my car is in the shop and no telling how much its going to cost.
I’ll pick this up for my Wii soon, once I get a stick that’s compatible (no way in hell am I playing on any of those awful Nintendo controllers). I played #Reload a bit on the Xbox, never got very serious about it. Who knows, maybe this time it’ll stick.
…any reason to pick this up if I already have GGAC for the Wii?

got a dumb question for you. i played back in the day; but really never got into just cause i was the only person i knew who played it(in my town to my knowledge).
does the story mode have everything from the beginning till now, or just the new portion of the story. i hope i worded it correctly ha:looney:
The Justice and Kliff story bits are flashbacks to the first Guilty Gear game (on playstation). The rest continue of the story of everyone after GGXX.

The OST really was the tip of the iceberg for me to get that game and the new story mode. It’s only 30 bucks still so you can’t go wrong. But I believe this game is getting rare though unless you order online.
I’m sold, sucks because I just bought GGAC like 5 months ago for $25…but yeah, getting + for the Wii. I have 2 Hori sticks and parts on the way for modding them.
GGAC is so good, I suck so bad though…my girl can basically button mash and beat me 1/2 the time. SF4 really distracted me and with KOF, Blaz & TVC coming I suspect I will continue to be mediocre in all fighting games.

Online is a tough sell on the PS2 and Wii these days, it’d be a waste of money most of the time, unless it’s in Japan.
But don’t worry, you study your combos and moves and you’ll be beasting in no time. I used to get rocked by spammers before, but right now I can’t be stopped at campus with my Johnny/Sol/Potemkin team.
I’m half tempted to buy a PS2 just so I can play this.
