I tend to say that a lot to people on the internet (Console wars, stupid arguments, misunderstandings, and it goes on; just call me a stupid noob and you can move along) and I don’t have to support my statement because that’s what I heard from friends. Yes, it was very well localized and it’s a great package overall. It was definitely worth the $30 and I’m glad that I’m helping out ASW by doing this. I absolutely love them. (Thankfully we’re not dealing with the likes of Examu)

and now that i think about it, doesn’t the Arcade GG games have MORE slow down than the PS2 ones? I remember it being alot easier to mash all the hits of grand viper on the cab :looney:

Team supers with Slayer’s dead on time would be silly as hell. Or heavenly potemkin buster. Or Gamma Ray.

ArcSys manages to squeeze GG onto the PSP no problem. Examu would probably fuck up Hyper Fighting on the PS3.

Loving the story mode as well. Just noticed it takes place AFTER the events of the Midnight Carnival (GGX2). Noticed that when Potemkin’s intro came in talking about how he survived that Robo-Ky attack from previous. It’s pretty sweet because I don’t want to go over the same material again. Though I have to say I hate having to go over the retarded battles. (Stuff where you have half health and opponent has retarded defense and healing abilities)

It seems that Kliff and Justice haven’t been balanced at all. So much for that. :tdown:

Anyone try Zappa’s storyline where he fights Slayer at the end? The Slayer AI for that fight is amazingly evil.

I’ve been playing this game on a 60gig ps3, and I was wondering is there anyway at all to make the game allow me to use the sticks on the dualshock instead of the pad?

In training or any gameplay mode, go to button config and near the bottom should be the option to turn on analog sticks.

^ I don’t think it was; didn’t they fix some stuff from the japanese version (which was arcade perfect (?)), so technically its not, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing.

Hell no. US version of AC was as close to arcade perfect as it got. JPN AC had mad bugs. I think some of it was fixed in JPN AC+ but it still didnt get all of them and by “fixing” what little it did it changed stuff.

For tourney play, I wouldn’t trust AC+ until this is thoroughly confirmed. Regular AC is still going to be the standard anyway.

Otherwise people need not be concerned because those things don’t really matter or might not be noticeable to casual players at all.

Haven’t seen anything out of the ordinary yet. I doubt they’ll change over though, there’s nothing here besides add-ons for casual and single-play anyway.

What they were annoyed about was the bad emulation in the PS2. They were saying some stuff like how it lagged and some other weird shit. Who knows, it might’ve been a very isolated problem anyway.

There’s a lot of story paths where you fight Uber Slayer, Uber Dizzy, and Uber I-no. They’re all pretty retarded by any stretch of the imagination. (Thankfully there’s OHKO for those occasions)

Already beat Mission Mode btw. It’s pretty easy when they give you the option to use Justice. (Spam gatcombos into electric whip, setups with explosives, counters, and spam RCs when inf. tension. Rinse and repeat till you win them all)

PS. If you beat one of Robo-Ky’s ending there’s a hint to a possible new character in GGX3. It’s pretty unsurprising to say the least.

the only bug that i remember from the jap ac+ is a mising link of robo ky 5p,5k, nothing more, but i could be wrong
