I actually really like this decision. While I do welcome +R i think it good to be able to fall back on this if +R is not to some liking. History should teach us that updates doe snot always mean good things
KI=KI 2 (overhaul on system not good)
SFA2= SFA2 gold ( nerving CC, Alpha counters screwed up ballance further)
VS=VS 2 (altered or removed characters with revamped mechanics that offer little disparity from predecessor)
UMK3= MK4 (poor excuse for 3.5 with MANY game breacking elements only to worst in updated GOLD version)
MK Deadly alliance= ( deadly alliance was okay reboot with interesting concept, sadly those concept got butcher in updates.)
DoA 2 ultimate = DoA franchise ( i don’t really know the story about this but over all DoA 2 is herald as the better game.
Soul calibure- soul franchise (The franchise got worst with each game with 1 and 2 being considered best)
kof98/2002= every other kof ( these two noticeably tries to stick with original kof game with subtle changes to mechanics and updated rooster)
Samurai showdown2/spirits 2= whole series pretty similar to DoA story. (well i do hear how 5 special is pretty popular but not to the sucess as 2)
Umm this is ASW we are talking about, not Capcom nor Namco nor SNK. They are more careful with what they do and don’t fuck up as much. AC itself was a fuckup in many aspects after Slash, but 6 years later I hope they had enough time to analyze everything and learn from their mistakes.
I thought it was because you guys play the newest version regardless.
Alpha 2 Gold is the only one of those examples even remotely close to relevant.

Alright, so I started playing Guilty Gear when Judgement was released on the psp (I had previously known about the series but never tried it until then), which contained GG X2#Reload. I later got AC+ as well. Since I never really had anyone to fight against, this will technically be me getting into it seriously now, so can someone give me just some basic tips (both for gameplay and the following characters)? The characters I’ll probably use will be Sol and Jam, and maybe Ky, Baiken, and Slayer on the side.
