I see. Other things i’m wondering are why they got rid of pot buster frc and took away justice’s dashes. I mean yeah no triple jump sure but no forward dashes? is she getting a command grab like pot in the next loke test (if there is one) neat idea at least, though 99% not going to happen. also eddie loses unblockables
Overall this looks to be fun. can;t wait to try it out and beat the army of sol players online.
Persona? While personal looks like a good game, I also see it as make up from Arc. So personally its going to be flavor of the month in august.
Skullgirls? Im ignoring this game till new patch is out. even then not fan of team centric games
Aquapazza? This is my most anticipated game, though im cocern for netcode since it may not translate so well.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2? Could’nt careless

To make her feel different and Uniqe? Its like asking why doesn’t potemkin have a dash, why Robo ky 2D isn’t a sweep, Why I’no dash levitates her? One of Guilty gear strongest deisghn is how they make each character operate different. Sure most character have access to universal mechanics but not every one works identical. If some reason a character lacks an mechanic, their normally compensated in another tool to compensate
Justice Force break is full screen like dash move that most likely be her way of traveling in fast pace situations.

They’re just recoloured and given Jellyfish Pirates versions of their outfits. Otherwise pretty faithful. GG characters normally aren’t that wiiiiide.
Homura switching between versions, Mami’s breast bounce, and Kyousuke and Hitomi make it pretty great. I’d still like to be able to pick the old stage in the console version but I will take the hell out of that.

I’d be fine if they removed FRCs and slashback. If you wanted a real shitstorm you should of said something about BB being superior/more refined than GG, and that GG players should be switching over to BB. But perhaps that’s been played out. Crafting a troll around that trope, the cost may exceed the return.
Maybe something with more subtlety, like: ForceBreaks don’t introduce depth to the series, but in fact reduce it.
In all honesty I wish they would remove FRCs and slashback. Forcebreaks I could live with depending upon who gets them for what moves. I just figured most of the GG crowd would be ridiculously entrenched by now.
Anji’s freeform chaining sounds like it’ll be interesting. I wonder if Dizzy’s bubble being poppable by the opponent combined with buffed range on Faust’s pokes will swing the matchup in Faust’s favor. Then again, the return of freely cancellable 2D for Dizzy could be trouble. Zappa’s dog bite being blockable sounds like a gigantic nerf; even if it gives +1 soul on block, I’m not sure what justifies that nerf given how jacked everybody is. I-no’s Stroke The Big Tree being jump cancellable in addition to I-no’s additional air dash sounds bonkers.
I do wonder how much of the EX character’s moves are left to bring into the regular cast now, or if there will be yet more new EX character moves in the home port.
They generally provide a highly flexible offensive tool that is resource-limited, enables creativity, requires some knowledge, and isn’t totally homogeneous due to it being move-specific. What’s your reasoning for why you want FRCs removed, trolling aside?
