just like in any fighting game, who you should be afraid of tends to be the best characters or the ones you personally struggle against matchup-wise. can’t base anything off the cpu. also in what universe would mixing up moves be useful against fg artifical intelligence. like what even is a mixup in that scenario

regardless, now i can lose in the comfort of my own home instead of in public!

I never did well at this game. I’ve got like…4 or 5 Guilty Gear XX games but I can’t really play any of them with any semblance of competency.

I play Ky like a Shoto and Chipp…well, I know some things but it’s mostly just showy crap without any substance. I do better at BlazBlue (which I’m still pretty bad at but I’ve surprised myself with how well I can maintain a fight with Ragna).

Which characters are people mostly afraid of? For me Slayer, my only experiences are the cpu on maniac, but he kicks me my butt every time with my main O-sol. I would mix-up my moves, use the range of my moves, guess his movement and counter with 623H, cross-up with 214s, Frcs, but he still kicks my butt. I’ll keep trying, but any advice would be appreciated.

I’m pretty sure arcsys will downgrade Justice and Kliff just a little bit for competitive play (hopefully).

I think the only way its gonna become really big is if there’s some sort of great marketing for it to attract new players.
Its a given that a good portion of FGC will try it out, a smaller portion will keep playing it, and a large portion won’t even try it. I think they just have to attract new players with balance changes and other bonuses.

I don’t know if they’re balancing the game, I don’t mind either way because I didn’t play really hard back then.

For the past three weeks I’ve been playing only Accent Core, GGX (gotta beat that Survival mode, lol), and BlazBlue CS Extend regularly. I’m still pretty hyped for this!

Because arcade version is AC, not AC+, which has Kliff and Justice and a few changes to Zappa and Robo-ky, IIRC.
