Itâs not about being human or not human character in Guilty Gear. Thatâs not the issue people are taking with here. Itâs about making a questionable premise that couldnât be substantiated. When it comes to communication, it obfuscates the discussion and itâs really annoying to deal with. Thatâs why people are irritated. Then changing the subject makes it all more so annoying.
This question was never answered. So dodging the point that you changed the subject just hurts your credibility as a communicator and emphasizes that youâre more annoying to have in a discussion. If your initial statement of âeveryoneâ initially meant âall of the playable cast,â then you equivocated your terminology. Equivocation in itself is bothersome to deal with since it is unclear and hurts discussion.
Even âYay humanâ infers that you are affirming that âBedmanâ is a human character when there is no substantial evidence to support your claim. In fact, that in itself is loaded language because youâre celebrating a point that has yet to be proved in the first place. Then itâs used in a petty way to bolster oneâs own ego and doesnât really contribute anything to the conversation. It says more about you as a person than the discussion about the character.
The name âBedmanâ could be actually a Japanese joke in which âman/ä¸â could refer to 10 thousand or myriad. âBedmanâ could be a reference to the 10 thousand or myriad of bedbugs that operate or control the bed.
Iâm not going to say Bedman is one way or another, since I do know that I âdonâtâ know what or who it is.
On a different note, I wish Siliconera could have posted a link to their source to reaffirm the name. Even just a picture of the said article in the magazine. But oh well, itâs just video game news and the info will be debunked sooner or later.
