GG is metal as fuck. Godlike soundtrack, and the characters donāt look like they fucking want senpai to notice them, they look like they want to curb stomp you, with a few exceptions like Bridget

GG was from a time before anime became mainstream and the āmodernā tropes became well known.

Letās just say the art style for both is anime based, but Blazblue is pretty much all bland shonen anime stereotypes. Look Baiken is based on Himura Kenshin. Bridget is a trap. Venom is a bishounen. Dizzy is your cat girl/beast girl whathave you. May is your loli. Johnny is your cool guy. Etc. However the GG characters are really creatively designed, and donāt seem so typical that you immediately think shonen anime. It also has all the kickass metal references which earned it a lot of points in my book.
I donāt remember GG being bashed back then for being an āanimeā game. In fact, I donāt remember it being called that to begin with. Games like DBZ Budokai and Naruto Ultimate Ninja were anime games. Guilty Gear was just Guilty Gear.
The cast in BB just donāt interest me that much compared to those in GG. And if I donāt find the cast interesting, Iām not going to find I character I like, which means I just wonāt play the game.
Iād Probably hold out on a PS4 until this game comes out and hope for a sick bundle!

Wow, this game is looking beautiful. Iām kinda sad no one managed to get some Slayer gameplay footage, but the game looks great and I canāt wait for next year. This will be my reason for getting a PS4, though Iām sure Iād eventually have to get one anyway to keep up with all the future next-gen releases.

Iād like to see YOUR data because all Iāve found is that BBCP sold through most the first wave of shipping (72,000 copies) which is certainly NOT AT ALL more than previous installments.
It IS incredible for a Ps3 game to sell so quickly, and it IS a good indication that BBCP will probably be EXTREMELY profitable for ASW.

Thats kind of like asking for new boxer footage in a new street fighter. We all know his moves,we know how he looks and we know how he plays. Hell, asw is going the extra mile to make sure all normals look exactly the same as ggxx.
its cool and all to see gameplay footage but its already beginning to bore me because its like āyea, old characters doing things slightly worse than your average gg vidā I wanna see new asw characters hopefully not inspired by new anime. Just looking at that winter list of anime is frightening.
Except his j.2K is different, his Undertow apparently looks different, and his Dandy~H is a new move entirely.
