A few minutes ago i searched “Guilty Gear” on Twitter and saw someone tweet that GG isn’t the type of game that appeals to the E3 crowd. Are you f*cking kidding me?!?
Would sure appeal more than freaking Mortal Kombat without even combat music
I’m going to guess they are waiting until Tokyo Game Show. It is still astounding that they didn’t even name drop it in the almost 2 hour long conference.
I’m not gonna lie, MKX looks like a faster and if only slightly smoother version of MK9; that’s a win in my book. You know an American audience and MK though…
MKX look to basically be MK9 with Injustice style interactibles.
They don’t play Xrd but they show TV instead.

Are you dumb? MK appeals alot more to the E3 audience than GG would.
Didn’t to me, and the audience didn’t seems that much into it. The gameplay showed without any music really made it pretty bland to me.
But don’t you think Sony should’ve been showing off a little less multiplats? And more Sony only games.

Hey people, do you know why they took some characters (including my favourite: robo ky)?
They took so many chars, this is very sad: dizzy, bridget, aba, order sol, anji, baiken, johnny, Robo ky, testament, Venom, Zappa and still Justice and Kliff. They will be on other update version… maybe?
Because they were on a tight schedule and had to prioritize characters based on gameplay variety and relative accessibility due to Xrd being effectively a restart of the franchise.
But is there any spoil or clue that leaves us the doubt if they will include these characters later?
Daisuke said in the interview that they plan on adding them all eventually.
No offense to Robo Ky or Order Sol lovers, but they aren’t nearly as unique as the other characters since they share a lot with normal Ky and normal Sol respectably. Personally I would rather they don’t return, and instead we get more new characters.
I honestly don’t know if they will bring back every old character, even not including robo and order. Cause it is a new game, there may want to put more focus on creating new characters.
I dunno…I find Robo Ky is one of the most unique characters in the game. Osol is plenty unique as well, gameplay wise IMO…
Understand your point of view, but sincerely Robo ky and order sol are very much different then Ky and Sol… There’s no way to compare both, i’m sure the people who play with KY doesn’t familiarize with robo ky, cause Ky have many chain combos more than Robo ky, plus robo ky have a temperature gauge that you need to control instead a normal gauge, it changes a little bit his gameplay, i think robo KY is more “counter gameplay” than agressive gameplay like Ky.
But no worries, there’s only my point of view.

Seriously, this has to be one of the MOST STUPID shit that i have the disgrace to read here on SRK.
Is like you have never played the game and are only basing your opinion on the fact that their names are Robo Ky and Order Sol thinking that they are lazy levels of capcom clones to boot.
Both characters are not only different in their normals and specials, they also have unique mechanics that are not present in any of the other characters. They are so different from each other that i seriously have to question what kind of drugs are you smoking to even think that they are similar to Ky or Sol.
One more thing, they already said that they are planning to add every single character from the XX series.
Lol, stop being so defensive. I didn’t call it lazy, I never mentioned Capcom either. However u think Order Sol is as different from Sol, as say Dizzy or Baiken or Zappa? That’s all I’m saying. Relax.
