Yes, but how many of these smaller companies actually turn a profit from windows platforms. Sure there are a few big ones (Minecraft being an example) but there are a lot more indie developers âdoing it for the love/charity/debt/obscurityâ.
Arksys is a reasonably sized company with a very diverse range of products across a range of media. They have iOS apps, 3DS exclusives, animation, books etc. Itâs obvious that their core market is Japan where things like quality packaging and a product as an entire package are very important for local consumers. Many companies see âgoing digitalâ as and equivalent to âgoing brokeâ. This is why it has taken so many of the big Japanese names to properly implement digital store fronts etc. They are still testing the waters, figuring out how to survive, maintain creative independence and create hot-shit awesome fighting games (among other things).
If we lobby Arcsys to release Xrd on steam, niggas will be able to somehow put those ripped models into source filmmaker. I canât wait for /gif/ to get their hands on that. SFM too strong
Thatâs been around since they launched ggxrd.com, but a link, from the main site, to the english side got removed around the first month of the site going up. Probably donât have the resources to maintain the english site, looks the same as back than.
Yeah, but itâs early morning right now. When I was in Tokyo for the previous test it started at 4pm so you still have like half a day before videos start popping up.
