This thread is really active for a game that probably wonāt come out until late 2014. Loving it. And hopefully theyāll have PS4 sticks out by then too.
Or lecture Sinās father and grandfather for not teaching the kid how to read and the nigga is already 7 years old. By Gear standards, heās already a āwizard.ā Worldās most disappointed mom.
What do you guys think the community spread is gonna be like across PS3, PS4 and even PC? I wonder if people playing on the PS consoles could play each other cross-console. If a PC version is confirmed, Iād prefer to play on that, but if the majority of the community is on PS whatever, then Iād consider getting that.
Seeing as there are not many more niche titles on the PS4 yet, Iām gonna guess that the competitive fan base is gonna be reluctant to make the jump for the moment.
From my point of view as a 360 owner, Iām more likely to pick up a 2nd hand PS3 on the cheap, unless there are substantial differences between the two versions.
There are more PS4ās in homes than you think. I donāt want to sound like a asshole, but $399 isnāt a whole lot of money, especially when it comes to consumer electronics such as video game consoles, tablets and laptops
Its not too bad if its something youāll spend a lot of time playing. I bought a PS3 (and a monitor) just for SF4. Regardless of how I feel about the game, I spent 200+ hours on Vanilla plus all the time hanging out with people playing the game. All in all it was a very good investment.
Guess it depends, but you can be sure that most casual players wonāt buy a system for a single game (unless it is Halo maybe).
ArcSystemworks is hurting themselves with making it a PS3/PS4 exclusive unless they got a big payoff by Sony to make it that way. Considering how easy it is to make games cross platform, and arguably Xbox having the larger audience for fighting games in addition to PC fighters having sold well, they are losing out on a lot of potential money and making new fans.
