Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- one of life's gilty pleasures

Welcome to four months ago.

This thread is really active for a game that probably won’t come out until late 2014. Loving it. And hopefully they’ll have PS4 sticks out by then too.

We better get a damn sub forum for Xrd when it hits. d3v, don’t fail us!

Don’t look at me. I don’t have control over which games get subforums.

They have a kid too Sin which will probably be in the game as well.

I’m guessing Dizzy will be final / sub boss shell burst out of her ice prison and start killing people.

if they don’t by that time, i plan to dual mod an atrox for x1/ps4 (i cant believe someone hasn’t done it yet)

why not just go to dustloop? they’re the go to place for anime games. it’ll be much more popular regardless if we get a subsection or not

Or lecture Sin’s father and grandfather for not teaching the kid how to read and the nigga is already 7 years old. By Gear standards, he’s already a ā€œwizard.ā€ World’s most disappointed mom.

THEN GAIN THE POWER!

What do you guys think the community spread is gonna be like across PS3, PS4 and even PC? I wonder if people playing on the PS consoles could play each other cross-console. If a PC version is confirmed, I’d prefer to play on that, but if the majority of the community is on PS whatever, then I’d consider getting that.

d3v’s like Shenron. ā€œThat is a wish I cannot grant.ā€

Seeing as there are not many more niche titles on the PS4 yet, I’m gonna guess that the competitive fan base is gonna be reluctant to make the jump for the moment.

From my point of view as a 360 owner, I’m more likely to pick up a 2nd hand PS3 on the cheap, unless there are substantial differences between the two versions.

If there is a PC version, I will jump for joy.

So will my wallet.

I’m guessing PS3, though part of me is thinking that they’ll be pushing the PS4 version heavily, especially if Sony gets involved.

I really hope Xrd runs just fine on PS3 because hell, I can’t afford to go next gen yet, lol.

There are more PS4’s in homes than you think. I don’t want to sound like a asshole, but $399 isn’t a whole lot of money, especially when it comes to consumer electronics such as video game consoles, tablets and laptops

So i see both PS3/PS4 having a strong community.

$400 is a lot if you are buying it for one game though.

Its not too bad if its something you’ll spend a lot of time playing. I bought a PS3 (and a monitor) just for SF4. Regardless of how I feel about the game, I spent 200+ hours on Vanilla plus all the time hanging out with people playing the game. All in all it was a very good investment.

When Chaos Breaker got a (lame) PS3 port I dropped 300 some dollars for a system and the game. System seller right there. Must have app!

GG has been a system seller for me since xbox.

Guess it depends, but you can be sure that most casual players won’t buy a system for a single game (unless it is Halo maybe).

ArcSystemworks is hurting themselves with making it a PS3/PS4 exclusive unless they got a big payoff by Sony to make it that way. Considering how easy it is to make games cross platform, and arguably Xbox having the larger audience for fighting games in addition to PC fighters having sold well, they are losing out on a lot of potential money and making new fans.
