haha. I hope so…man I love that game but I have no idea about the basics. I just try to combo stuff in any way i can. Yeah…ill give you the info in a little while…im headed to class. So you think Marvel players catch on quick in that game?
Yes, it should be very easy for a marvel player to learn GGXXSlash, as they already have quick fingers and probably quick reactions, which is needed in Guilty Gear. Only difference is that Guilty Gear is a much more technical game than Marvel is.
That and the fact that all characters are useful, unlike Marvel, meaning you’d have to learn to fight against more match ups than in Marvel. But yeah, shouldn’t worry about the match ups for now, the basics are very simple. I’ll get you through those.
well, me and me friends usually are at the union in the morning till 10 MWF, playing CVS2 or MArvel, and then usually you see us there after 12…sometimes.
Well I was there this friday. Not sure if any of you saw me. I was the guy playing Guilty Gear XX #Reload using Millia, with that win streak. Sorry guys. D:

I think I saw u. I didnt know Slash had cheap combos like that.lol. Yeah. I think I played you and lost real bad. So I went to play marvel in the back and totally own everyone.lol. Anyways yeah…I’ll try to find you at the union sometime. I think I remember you quite well.
Well we were playing #Reload, not Slash. So yeah, #R’s millia is pretty damn good with her air combo into knockdown.
But, if you want and if I can find some time, I could bring my PS2 or a friend’s PS2 and Slash, maybe some KoFXI as well.

Hey man i was just posting so this thread dont die…they were playing some GG…but after losing a good while…i went to go play MVC2…im getting used to the moves…i just cant combo for the life of me.
I still don’t know who you are. I haven’t been able to go to the union for some time now cuz of work. It was probably some of my friends playing that have been winning. I only know of like 3 good players here in brownsville.
Comboing isn’t hard, if you can combo in MvC2 I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to in Guilty Gear. Just practice your execution. You said you didn’t have aim, did you? Send me a PM here with your aim screen name incase you do have it, maybe we can talk more on aim. (or any other messenger)
school is out whoo! So now I get a bit more of free time(when I am not working) to play fite games.

Its not much the fact that I dont like it cause I actually do. Its just I really really really hate SLASH. Reload was awesome. I hate slash so much. Its boring and slowed down alot to me. There for I stopped playing. And it was also hard for me to play #reload seeing as I dont have the game. I stopped due to no game and then hated slash. If that new GG has a feel of reload to it then Ill pick it up but if it feels just like slash fuck that.

Hey guys, this is DOOM, Jim and Julian know me as well as Furix’s friend Alex. I’ve only had the pleasure of playing Julian so he knows that I’m not that good.
I play Zappa mainly and mess around with Eddie and Testa. I’m from Raymondville and rarely get to play with anybody save random friends and Beef. I really would like to get better at this game and have decided to seriously take on playing it competatively.
At the moment I am working on a lot of my exectutions and basics. The big thing that really seems to nail me is that I often run into dumb things and get counter hit but that passes over experience. Another big thing I need to start getting down is the different move properties so I’ll know how to block correctly (and quit recoverying just to get hit again). Basically I’m a work in progress that just loves this game and hopefully I’ll get to play you guys sometime.

Good Games last night Seven. True GG fans play whenever,wherever. (1-5 am near the cemetaryXD) Both of us have a ways to go though. I tend to blindly dash or jump into your counter attacks many times as well as you kinda just letting yourself get set up. Main thing is our defence but yours more as I hit you with one too many c.D. Sorry about the Dog too. XX dog is awesome. I was spoiled last night with Dog lockdowns ^.^. Too bad dog’s lame in Slash -.-. We need to get more games in man.
