There no good combos yet, I just sent the shitty ones to jin to get them out of the way first, ill leave the good ones/glitchs etc for the real video once its finished… Ill try and get 10 side winders in one combo as well, as the chipp bug etc etc… Its just a matter of me sitting down with the game, cuz I usualy end up stopping after a few mins… shrug

also i saw that Justice’s stage is now recolored orange. dammit ArcSys if you’re gonna fix up the lady’s stage, atleast make her tourney legal.
though, i think they should’ve just included all the stages from GGX, XX, and XPlus. I have a fondness for the GGX version of Paris.

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I don’t have time to look through this entire thread.
I’m looking to get GGXX: Slash, but I need the PS2 “Freeloader” (apparently that’s not what it’s called – no modded PS2 you see). As I’ve been told, they are very hard to find – Google turned up nothing. Can anyone tell me where I can find this device, so I can play Slash on an unmodded Ps2?

Synikal-You just need a flip top mod and boot discs (namely the Magic Swap brand). ps2cover.com is one good source, although their shipping service can somtimes take much longer than expected.
The boot discs are the main item required to play. There are other mods besides flip tops that you can use, although such tops are much easier to install than mod chips.
Let me ask the obligatory question…

Sorry, would you mind going into a little detail (or anyone else?). What’s a “flip top mod”? I was told that all I needed was the boot disc and an external harddrive. I’m new to this whole idea of import games, external gadgets and whatcha-ma-call-its regarding my PS2. How does this work exactly?

If you have a fat ps2, your gonna need to find yourself a fliptop witch allows you to replace the top of the ps2 with a lid. Your gonna need it when as well as the Swap Magic discs.

Anyways, back to /… Has anyone figured out if you can play on the #R stages or not. People have been debating it and use the beta images as proof they’re in there. But I keep telling them, they’re just test images. Is there in fact some way to play on the old stages, because some of the new ones are just ass. :sad:

No Reload stages last I checked, I’ve unlocked everything(I think, anyway).
