Also, anyone charing $80 for this game needs to slapped and taken to the GGXX main site. Even they talk about the price reduction and the lack of features the console version will have.
What makes me trip out is why the console version is taking this long for it to come out if it does in fact lack so many features?
when xbox 360 launched, there were several instances where the console basically blew up… they overheated and just fried out really quick. my cousin had one for christmas… i went to set it up for him, and when i turned it on, the screen came up… and about 20 seconds later, it just turned off and a weird smell came out of it. when i hit the power button, the outlet sparked, and the system was done. we got it replaced, and there were no problems with it, but still… wtf
and yeah, JnL game trading… wow… i bought a few games from them in the past. back when tobal 2 came out, i bought it from them for $55 USED. i was stupid, and the game was top tier, best game i’ve spent more than $40 on without extras EVER. i got third strike for DC new at one point for $50, which was definitely worth it. but yeah… new PS2 imports are standard there at $70. in fact, they have metal gear 2, japanese there for $55 right now… the only reason that they stay in business, is because they’re really cheap to mod systems. back in the day, PSX mod was $10, saturn mod was $12, DC mod was $40, until the boot disc came out, then it was $25, PS2 Magic chip mod was $100, the swap magic mod is $25 there with the 2 load discs. they’re pretty cheap for mods…
would they mod the consoles themselves?
yeah… usually, they’re done with it within an hour… so you go drop off the console, go to CTF and get your marvel on or whatever you want, or go get some food… come back, and you have ur console done

well, they’ve used the same 2 dudes for the past 8 years or so (as long as i’ve been going there for my modding needs)
they do a great job, but don’t bring an old console. i brought an OLD ps2 at one point, and the laser burnt out as they tested it, and they claimed it wasn’t their fault. the dude knows me, and i give him a lot of business… so i paid $45 for the laser to be replaced. i knew it was old so i wasn’t expecting a flawless mod, but yeah… it worked fine for about four years after that, and then i recently sold it to al the great with the chip taken out, cuz the laser was being funky… i took it out cuz it was getting old.
that’s cool but it seems they should learn how to charge games properly. $80 for slash? Well $60-$70 is pretty standard for a new import. slash is that one exception
i’m guessing to squeeze as much money from the arcade scene before they release it for home use.
