Not only that, but the rumors seem rather strong on a release coming to America. What I find odd is where exactly are these people finding there source, because they all seem to say “By the end of this year” or “late December”.
Am I the only one who remembers the fact that all recent GG releases in the US were done by Majesco, which also happens to be in a state of financial ruin?
Even if we get a US release…so what? I’m sick of Sammy ignoring the US market, and I’m sick of GG games getting no promotion or wide-spread circulation. Fuck Sammy, fuck Sony, and fuck Majesco. Give me a serious release on PS2, and give this series a chance to grow among players who AREN’T gross-as-fuck Japanophiles.

America rocks and rules. If you wish to blame anyone for the lack of greater GGXX exposure, blame the complete lack of marketing and promotion done for the game in the United States by Sony/Sammy.
Moving on, Slash is a great game so far. The matchups are excellent, the new characters are fun, and most of the balance changes were well thought out. I think they hit certain characters a bit too hard, (Robo-Ky, for example), but overall it’s a definite improvement over GGXX#Reloads balance. I’m looking forward to seeing this in tournaments over the next few months, it will be a blast.
I full heartly agree about America being shitty.
I’m thinking of moving to Japan because I watch alot of anime and from all the anime, I can assume I know all there cultures and what not. Not to mention 100% of the girls there are hot all of the time, and Japan is just too awesome. America sure does suck, who needs freedom anyways? lol pointless.

Theres nothing wrong with this game,none of the minor glitches are of any concern to you…there’s only one thats potentialy bad which is the a.b.a knockdown freeze glitch, but no one knows yet if it is console only,and if it was there is always a possibilty that it’s an intentional change.
although with how venom can exploit this thats pretty unlikely.

What versions are you talking about? According to the Absolute Chronicle DVD, theres only ONE Reload.
The only "versions’ I know of are box art changes where one said Sammy and then the reprint said Sega on the new cover.

ah as for the aba glitch being the only one that effects the game. Then no, cuz chipps does as well beacuse with chipp you can acctualy give his properties to other characters in the game.

The ABA is rather ugly, seeing as how you don’t need tension to do it, and the ABA glitch isn’t the only one really bad. Like FS said, theres Chipp’s infs, and not to mention some character’s damage outputs are gonna be different. To make matters worse, the whole “body floats more” is BS, allowing your opponent to tech before he hits the ground. This fucks over a lot of combos.
