Due to unforeseen circumstances,we are unable to use MDK’s basement for this event.So right now,we are looking for a new location to host this event.We are also looking for equipment now.
It’s just a matter of people from Toronto being mad lazy. Why do we always have to come down to Toronto when you guys don’t make an effort to come to Mississauga? But, that’s besides that matter. I’m just saying what I think needs to be said. GG doesn’t concern me, so wherever it gets held in the end makes no difference to me.
Uh… December 20th is the date I have for Christmas Countdown. You could just hold the 5 on 5 at Lovegety Station and the people coming from out of town could play everything else as well.
usaully when u leave the decisions for the scrubs to decide , nothing gets done.
just pick a date and time from ur best management and tell the noobs to follow it, if a majority of asshole can’t make it then just change another date so more spammers can show up.
i actually have a real (serious) question this time…
why are we doing it december? Reading dustloop says you’re the only one who proposed that date, and the main reason is because school is done.
I think a better date so that christmas countdown can happen, and we wont all be tired out for having a tourney everyweek week, is a week or 2 after all the midterms has finished, since midterms are done and people can “slack off” for a day.
Actually, according to my suggested date, it might end up being a week or 2 after the oct tourney at lg (if it happens). Which means that the top 5 of that tourney can play, and people will still be “semi” warmed up.
With all that said, if k2/hermes isn’t driving to sauga, nobodys gonna go lol. So it’ll become sauga vs buffalo. In fact, i don’t even know how dawnbringer is getting there, when he won’t even go to lg =(
We will host other games upon demand…however,it is mainly hosted due to a request by the Buffalo Crew.We could have another date rearranged,but then I need replies.
The date isn’t determined yet and if many people decide that it would be better to host it earlier,then it will be hosted earlier.This is by no means a tournament based event,it’s more of a casual with people outside of our normal community.
And I’ve said that I’m looking for a director,so I’m not “rigging” any brackets like you do.
I’ve only proposed the dates,it’s still undetermined and now knowing that Christmas Countdown is on December 20th,I’ll move it to another time.I’ll give it a little time before determining the final location.(Depending on votes mainly)
And since nobody has really given me a date yet,I looked to the most ideal time when people would show up for an event.(With school out of the way in general,as it IS the main excuse for some people)
Now,give me some suggestions on what dates to do this so it doesn’t collide with other tournaments/events.
Doesn’t toronto have like, triple the amt of players sauga has?
I though only Rae and Forest were the only ones in sauga who seriously play?

What does that mean? I don’t come to your house to play games I want? I come whenever I have time. If people are still going to rag on me because I’m not there 100% of the time, I don’t know what to say. After the exception I made this past Sunday to stay until like 1:30AM, I honestly thought I was past this.
But, seriously, Dawn, if you really want to do this, pick a date and location yourself. If enough people tell you they can’t do it, then make another time, if you ask everyone you’re going to get conflicting ideas. Do that shit yourself. You can’t make exceptions to include everyone. Sometimes people have to miss out.

Of course we’re hosting this on console.However,I still want a date…but as of right now,I’m thinking between middle of November and possibly it may go to January (seeing as how Christmas Countdown is a major event for Toronto,it’s not going to work out well in the end).I’m leaning more towards January 10th/17th.

I actually think that going to sauga will discourage people to go, if we were planning a tournament afterwards. I’m pretty sure a bunch of people has a higher interest in going to k2s place instead of sauga. How the fuck is ALMIGHTY ME going to even have a chance of going now?? He’ll hafta bus to 5 hours to toronto to get picked up, then take a 2 hour ride, play some gg, then repeat Oh well, 10 people is all you need to start a tournament afterall :looney:

Serious matter: Since we don’t even know if they’re coming, that means any early date won’t work, so I guess the best time would end up being january, unless they decide fairly soon then we should do it late oct/early nov when midterms have just finished, because i wouldn’t wanna hafta camp this thread for 3 more months.
