Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus

Make it happen, Harry! I believe in you!

I’d definitely like to see a localized PSP version released in the states. That’s what I wanted to see happen

Not sure if I’d buy it on console though considering I have accent core. Depends on the price.(Wouldn’t pay another 30, but I’d probably shell out 15-20 to get with 30 dollar PSP version)

but I’m pretty sure you’d be able to sell them to the “Otaku” following the series has if you marketed the new storyline hard enough

Dunno why ppl are asking for a psp port, since the psp is region free…

If Aksys can make a GG AC w/ netplay(as well as no lag issues on the ps3), I think they should go for it.

Well I’m interested in the mission mode and story line as well

and it’d be cheaper and easier than importing to just go down to the store and buy it

So if they’re offering, I’ll let them know I’m interested in buying

and the netcode thing sounds like a project. I think he’s just asking us that if they’d translate and box it, would we buy.

Not what do we want in a new game

So I don’t know why people are bringing that up in here. Pretty sure every company knows that players want to play online. If they were actually planning on doing so for this game they wouldn’t need to ask about it

I know that’s a strong possibility, but it’s very unlikely that anyone’d even buy it unless it were released for under $20.

Telling them to actually add something to a later project makes more sense.

I know but I really don’t think they are planning on spending anymore time revising accent core

If they are working on netcode it’ll be for BlazBlue. Not accent core.

I’m fairly certain this is more of a “We have this do you want it or not” thing than an open forum for new ideas to improve the game

edit:

nevermind this is a “what if” thread

I would buy it for the PS2 WITHOUT QUESTION if it was released in the U.S.

this would be ideal

need more US HNK

No.

But there are two other scenarios i hope you guys can consider.

  1. Release it on PSN & Xbox Live with GGPO. Not only is that a MUST BUY, it gives great momentum into BlazBlue and your best bet at building a stronger community.

  2. Compilation Disc. Its about time we got a GG collection. We need more incentive to purchase.

Personally, I’d have to say No.

We got the most Arcade Perfect version (even vs Japan’s version).
So in the end, I don’t think it would be worth bringing AC Plus to states.

This question has the same answer as “does it have ggpo?”

release it with online lobbies and tournies out the ass.

and a couple of sluts as well.

I suppose a PC port is out of the question.

i would kill for this…

This is like the twentieth post to mention GGPO in this thread alone, but man this one was well-phrased. :bgrin:

I would not buy AC+ itself no matter what the price, and my guess is that the bulk of hardcore GG players wouldn’t care about it either. I can’t imagine the demographic is very big for anime-superfans who love it enough that they’d buy AC again just for the neat extras.

I would buy it in a heartbeat if it included well-coded netplay. (I assume this would be most-easily accomplished on a next-gen console or PC.)

I would buy Hokuto no Ken even if it came wrapped in shards of broken glass and I had to open it with my face. I know it’s older now but ohhh my god it looks so cool!!

Partially off-topic, both those games’ arcade versions run at 480p natively, right?

This isn’t really the best place to ask this sort of question. SRK is a site dedicated to the hardcore community, who view features such as Story Mode and Survival as superfluous. Most people here got all they wanted from the game in the initial U.S. release, but that doesn’t mean less competitive fans did.

As stated by most people in this thread, not without netcode. Since it has identical gameplay to AC, I don’t really see a need to buy it for a extra modes and two characters I probably wouldn’t play. An online version, however, is a whole 'nother can of worms. I’d scoop it up in a heartbeat.

I agree with the HNK sentiment though. I already own the game, and I’d still be tempted to rebuy it just to support it.

not without ggpo
