I’m really hating the Ryu match right now. He seems extremely hard to keep away.
The Ryu match is rough because his dash is so fast and his meterless damage fucks us hp.
You have to keep booms on screen to keep him out of your face, but he has so many ways to get in.
Just gotta read your opponent better in neutral, stack your resources and go in once you have v-trigger to secure the round.
R Mika, hardest match up i’ve had so far. Rush down shenanigans too much to handle haha
I had trouble against her too until i started playing ultra lame. Best tools against mika that i use are:
- jump back with l.p. this is great against her jump ins, when she is in your face mid screen and you need to get outta there, and on wakeup.
- cr.l.p. i use this a lot!!! Great to throw out to stop throws, set up frame traps.
I think Guile does very well against Vega. He seems to have an answer for all of his shit. Vega has to take risks and Guile can really pressure him in the corner.
They need to add the Balrog matchup.
