Might want to check out yesterdayās WinnerStaysOn stream. On it, that capcom UK guy basically said that the āsilhouetteā image of the DLC characters was the order that theyrāe going to be released(guile was 2nd). Iām not sure if this is true or not though.
Also in the same stream one of the commentators was saying how everyone has always wanted Guile to have new specials. The capcom UK guy replied with āyou wont be disappointedā.
I thought this thread would pick up more steam considering how heās likely be with us in a month. Well, Iām looking forward to guile, I always liked him. I wonder what theyāre actually going to do to himā¦I mean, heās suc ha a quintessential character. He a;ways had everything he needed, right from the get go in world warrior. His ST iteration is something you donāt really have to take anything from or add to. My own guess is that heāll have a low sonic boom like remy, and(this is just taking a really wild guess for shits) his v-skill might be a charge that allows you to do sonic boom/flash kick as a motion ONCE.
With nash having so many similar moves too, I wonder how theyāll differentiateā¦
You guys, Iām hype for Guile. SFV is fun and all, but Nash is no substitute for Guile whatsoever. Two completely different play styles. Even though rushing down with Nash is fun, itās not the same. I honestly wonāt be able to take this game seriously until Guile is finally released.
Flash kick and sonic boom are the only two specials he needs. Both charge moves. Iām hoping capcom doesnāt screw guile up somehow.
My only hope for Guile is that his buttons are similar to what they were traditionally. I canāt play Nash because his buttons are very different than say Alpha 3 and that feels very foreign (not to mention no charging). Love Guile St.HP, c.MP, c.mk, sobats, upside down kick, step kick, c.HP. Iād love to see St.jab as a 3 framer similar to Ryu.
Instead of high/low booms, how about an Abel style roll, but with a dp motion. Using the dp shortcut you could advance and keep a down charge. Do want.
