Seems like flash kick has a ton of active frames. If you whiff it on someone on the ground and they jump soon after they’ll get booted.
Why would anyone do that?
so in the corner…i haven’t been able to actually finish it but heavy punch jump in crouching mp, sonic boom, fierce punch crouching mp and flash kick should work my execution is horriable though

I’m pretty sure i got up to 240 off of S.LK > S.MK xx Trigger xx C.MP > H.SB and mash heavy for extra damage.
It was something I found. Pretty sure yall already knew, but it makes great space for going back to pumping out sonic booms and pushing rushers back out. I mean, anyone with a three frame can beat it. I don’t know if there’s a frame trap you can use to set it up.

When in V-Trigger, his can change the strength of his sonic booms. It generally consists of starting the first one with HP and the following ones to be LP causing a long enough delay because of the slower projectile speed allowing him to dash up to continue the combo.

I dunno why but for some reason I’m struggling with j.hk, boom, cr.mp, boom, cr.mp, boom. I can’t get the bolded boom to come out.
However if I do j.hk and go straight into cr.mp, boom, I can do that fine? Is there a specific strength of boom you have to use or something?
I see everyone doing it really easily and I am lost as to what I’m doing wrong because I’m usually very good with Guile’s execution. Maybe I’m used to the SF4 timings or something?
I’m tired anyways so maybe I just need a break.

Throw booms from down-back to get the earliest charge and cancel as late as possible.

Try taking out the j.hk (i.e., just do boom, c.mp xx boom) to see where the hole in the bucket is.
Edit: also, you can link the c.mp quite late - booms are +8 on hit.

I’m having some serious trouble with Guile but I loved him in IV so I need to learn. He is just so slow.
I’ve never tried to understand one of these tables but I guess when I’m pressuring I’m aiming for the green stuff on block?
If it’s +2 on block and then I hit a 4 frame move does that mean it will beat out any 3-4 frame jabs and act as a frame trap?
I just keep getting beaten by dash up throw and random sweeps it’s really annoying me. Not to mention online is so bad that for some reason it won’t let me hit, cr.lk, cr.lp, FK even though I can do it 20 times in a row each side in training.
