Well, whatever the real SFV Guile theme winds up being, it’s gonna be hard to top that one.

So what do you think will happen with his normals?

Surely hes not going to have the same normals as Nash. Hes getting new normals.

I’d assume they’d have him keep his IV normals. I don’t see why change him unless that’s the catch we’re getting with the new Guile.

what that actualy mean ? your sonic boom dont go full screen anymore if you dont use sonic blade first or if you use sonic blade then throw a boom your boom become two hit ?

guile look nice so far just hope they dont mess up is HP.

I imagine his c. Fierce will be back. Probably have the Guile High Kick in some form. Probably won’t have the backfist.

Just a thought. If he’s doesn’t have backfist as normals, maybe it can be his v-reversal. So he can like use it to punish mid-range blocked fireballs.

Personally, I want his SFIV s.HP back (maybe Crush Counter to another s.HP for classic SFIV counter hit combo)

Guile always gets changes to his normals in each game as it is so he’ll have some new stuff for sure.

You also have to remember this game is like V ism A3 so there’s no close normals. Meaning upside down kick may end up being a command normal if he still has it. He will probably be one of the characters most affected by the proximity change.

They said if your boom passes through the blade it gets more durability. So you most likely get a 2 hit boom. Distance shouldn’t be affected.

I’ve never been excited to play Guile before.
But I am this go around.
That stage is sick, I really hope they redo more of them.

Anyway, I hope his V-Skill is as effective in the zoning game as I visualize it.
The crouch/walk move with charge sounds odd, I wonder how it’ll play out.

SF2 vegas stage? FUCK YEA. I wanna see that again. Guile’s stage was aways my fave, vegas the 2nd and spain the 3rd.
He’s really the only SF2 character I was excited to see apart from bison, and seeing him, his stage and his new abilities is getting my pretty hyped. I’ll also give him a serious shot, and maybe find my 3rd character in him.

The way I’m envisioning the crouch walk is the way Steve foxes used to work in x tekken minus the follow-ups

I imagine it’s like Gief’s V skill where he assumes a pose but slowly moves forward but just a bit faster.
