If you are wondering which servers some guilds are going to be playing on
my friends decided we’re gonna be on Fort Aspenwood. I can’t wait for tonight, should be awesome. gonna be trying to log in start at 9ish until I’m in lol. Though I’m not sure if it’s the character who I will stay with the entire time, I finally decided I’m gonna make a Norn thief.
I’m torn between Fissure of Woe
Gunnar’s Hold (where the PC Gamer Guild will be)
Desolation (everyone rinsed this server in the beta and they never lost WvW at all)
I’m gonna be on Jade Quarry. Can’t wait!

Looking at that gw2guilds site I think I’ll pick one of the medium population servers. Doesn’t really matter all that much anyway for PvE with the guesting feature. As long as I’m not thrown into queue whenever I want to play PvP.
some of the drama that’s going on these guilds/alliance and the damn game hasn’t even started yet. lol
Servers hopefully go up 3 hours early. I took a nap so I could stay up late and play this game. I read people are gonna be mashing skip to end in character creator in order to reserve names. Didn’t realize naming your toons in MMOs was that serious but then again I wanna reserve my uncommon noun names too! Hair Net, Municipal Bylaw, Tiller, Timing Belt, and Parapet.
So whats the SRK server? I’m super baked in preparation, so I do not feel like searching.

Managed to get connected and in for an hour or so this morning, can’t get through authentication now though (EU). Hope everyone in NA aren’t having as many problems. Looks like my early access might not be so early.
NA has the same issues atm, haven’t been able to log in for a couple hours now.
from the updates on FB it seems they’ve been having problems. I got in just fine last night and played for 4ish hours. gonna head to the gym now and come back and veg out all day lol
Want to get this game so bad and start my lion swordsman guy, need a new set up though as I doubt my comp could handle this 
how do you guys level up? I’m so under leveled for the main story, need more dynamic events
I ran around did all the heart quests, and got 100% exploration in my starting area and starting city, that nets a lot of bonus exp. I was lucky that some of the harder dynamic events had a ton of people doing them so most of those weren’t too bad even if I was underleveled for the area. there were also a few skill points I ran in grabbed and ran out lol. Now I found myself over leveled for the main story, but it is kicking my ass! I’m norn and I have to fight 2 elites, and one is ranged. so annoying. So I left and went to the human area and started doing heart quests/exploration over there. once I’m done I’ll go to the charr and everyone else.
For PvE try exploring and discovering points of interests and waypoints, they usually net around 100xp. Do every heart quest you see on the map. Carry mining, logging and harvesting tools with you and harvest every resource point you come across. You can also start crafting which rewards both crafting and character experience. Killing mobs seems to be the slowest way to gain experience.
If you’re doing PvP just go to World v World and find a large group of players to zerg rush with capturing points around the map.
yeah I did exactly that, went around and found all the Poi’s, etc. Decent exp but I cant equip any of the rewards =/
