Maybe some foreshadowing, either they already have him lined up, or Udoneko sees that alot of people are intrested in him doing it.
And Im not suprised about them getting him to do it.
Cause (correct me if Im wrong Udoneko) but alot of UDON employees used to work for Dreamwave, so its easy to negotiations and what not.
Oh and Udoneko maybe you can answer this for me, are Pat & Alvin Lee related? Cause I know Alvin used to work for Dreamwave, and I know at first that Dreamwave was made up of alot of Pat Lee’s family and friends, so whats the deal on this?
Oh and any chance of Pat doing a cover/back up story?
I like Karee Andrews, I think he did one of the best Spider-Man pics of all time (the pic of Spidey and MJ kissing, and I have the comic that its used as the cover for) which has an intresting/amussing story behind how it was done (see site)
He’d probaly be good for a back up story, but as far as I know, he’s only been doing stuff for Marvel, but then again that dosnt mean he’s an exclusive Marvel artist, so UDON could probaly get him.
Actually I think Udoneko mentioned that Kia wont be doing the back up to #3 due to health issues, but somebody else is filling in and doing the back up instead, and Kia’s cover and back up story will be used in a later issue.
You can still find Kia’s cover (chun li, with an all white backround) in one of the older Previews books.
Speaking of which, Udoneko, where’s all the media for issue #3? I dont even know when it comes out, and what all the covers look like (well I saw them all in the previews book, but not the cover for whosever filling in for Kia)
Well Id rather see him doing a back up and cover, rather than just a cover.
Although now it seems that UDON is sticking with three covers now, instead of 4, thankfully.
Cover A = Arnold Tsang or Alvin Lee
Cover B = Guest Artist
Cover C = Special Cover (various artists)
Oh and Udoneko, when can we expect to see the Edayan cover? I remember you mentioning him doing one, but can you give the time frame on when he’s doing it, ie early next year, late next year, etc.
He’d probably fuck up the characters and make em look like Wolverine like he did with the Thundercats #2 variant cover… did anyone see Wolverine with a Lion’s mane?!?
LeSean?! Are you on crack?? He totally ruined the Dreamwave TMNT series for me… I mean his turtles art looks TIGHT, but as for humans!? Psssh! gimme a break! I stopped buying that series as I was disgusted by the way he depicted humans.
Okay well first off he only looks similar to Wolverine because of the sideburns, ie you wouldnt think he’d look like Wolvie if he didnt have the sideburns.
Also Woverine and Liono are both “half man half beast” type characters so Im not suprised that someone who is used to drawing Wolverine, and never draws Liono would use a similar thought process when drawing someone like Liono.
Uhm…he’s done other stuff.
You’re acting like the only thing, or only good thing he’s done is Batman, and he hasnt even done Superman yet, he starts that in April, so you dont know if his Superman will be good.

LeSean is the only person thats done Dreamwave’s TMNT series, you cant ruin something from the get go, you can only ruin something over a period of time, or ruin something that someone else has done (which wouldnt be the case, since this has been Dreamwave’s first and only TMNT series)
And have you seen all the diffrient ways he draws humans? He dosnt always draw them in that sameway/style, why dont you go have a look at his site.
I’d like to see Humberto Ramos handle a young Ryu encountering Gouki for the first time - he likes doing the dark and brooding thing, and it would do well in a mini-story.
