Very cool to find this thread. I go to the UofG as well, but I’m off for a year. Does anyone go to the game nights? And anyone know if Ultimate is selling early anywhere (or around) Guelph?
I don’t go to guelph but my girlfriends sister lives on campus so we stop by every now and then, if you guys have like a weekend thing i’d be down to come every time im visiting, I play both ae and umvc (when it comes out)
I dont think anyones breaking street date here. Im going to the midnight launch tourney tomorrow. Im at the UoG too, go to game nights when I can.
I actually went to Microplay yesterday, and apparently they got one copy and sold it early on Friday. I was kicking myself for not going. Where’s the midnight launch tourney?
And for anyone that might be interested, there’s a game club at the UoG. Tuesday nights are themed - for the past month or so its been rotating shooter week, then fighting games. And Thursday nights are free for all. I went to one free for all night, but me and my buddy were really the only ones playing Marvel. There was a SF set up, but they seemed more casual.

I go casually whenever I have time. I haven’t been there for quite awhile due to exams and other obligations. You could just stop by and talk to the coordinators. They should be easily spotted. Though, I doubt that there will be any this week or the next as exams are here. If you want, I could send the e-mail of the coordinator your way and you guys could figure it out. I’m sure I could bring out a few people!
