You’ll note I realize that. So far from what we’ve seen they didn’t even bother to ry and capture the fantastic look the characters had or the sou of it visually. Hopefully as we get deeper into it I’m wrong.
Stills without the touch ups
Yeah its not finished, but the designs themselves are ‘there’. It is very ‘gritty’ looking, and while I’m not asking for a blue archer with a 3 foot mohawk, some of the original ‘outrageousness’ in character design is missing. In this dark corridor, the three non-CG characters don’t look…‘alien’. Bautista looks like a burn victim, and Zoe looks like she’s playing the wicked witch of the west. They downplayed her looks WAY too much, and need to over emphasize Bautista. I’m OK with RRs look and I can’t really expect much more from Groot.

i dont hate the teaser…but it def so far doesnt appear to be on the same quality as other marvel movies. i can see myself seeing it.
It needs Batista hitting batista bombs and spinebusters on henchmen

Saw the debut trailer on Kimmel and I gotta say it was good.
It was funny, showed off hints of big action, and introduced the Guardians all in one go. We’ll get future trailers elaborating on all those things separately, but this is a good start for sure.

Not sure why they felt the need to add John C. Reilly to the movie. Something like this wont allow him to do his thing.
