can anyone give me any tips on how to guard crush effectively (guard crush strings)
i use C and K groove
anyone/cammy/sagat
i mostly use K groove and mostly use Geese as my first character.

Check the character specific sections. Usually there is a thread about guard crush strings.
Lately I’ve been trying to better incorporate guard crushing into my game. Like for example if your opponent has half guard meter or less a good combo to do is some variation of crossup into light then hard attack then uppercut. Like with Sagat: crossup, st.jab,st. fierce into jab tiger uppercut (guard crush) then combo.

Is the amount of guard crush a move does, directly related to the damge it inflicts if it hits?
