Alright we might as well get this rolling. I’ll be renting a van as per usual and in all honesty am looking to take the usual idiots with me to fill the van. So until someone tells me otherwise there are spots for the following people:

Please post up if you’re interested in going. We’ve all driven together before so we know relative cost. I’m not going to do a price breakdown until Mao locks up the location and I can plan the hotel/motel accordingly. I’ll be honest in saying I want a different hotel than the last couple times. That place was cheap as hell but every time we left I felt like I had to inspect all my shit for ticks or something.

Justin; yeah we’d be leaving on the Friday morning so it’d be a day off work. I never understood why Montreal does their tournies on Friday/Saturday instead of Saturday/Sunday. It’s May 22/23.

GPS debuts for Montreal. I don’t think I can handle another full Montreal Rage Meter.

Anyone who wishes to go to this, I currently have 3 seats avaiable (4 if your absolutely desparate and don’t mind squishing in the back of a Nissan Sentra).

I will be only charging the gas and sharing hotel fee’s.

Currently ALL spots are open.

I haven’t figured out the rough cost yet (Nagata hopefully you can enlighten me on hotel figures). Either way the seats are available.

I’m just looking to see how much money I should put aside for the trip.

Alright let’s crunch some preliminary numbers:

VAN RENTAL
$200 / 7 = $28.50

EXTRA KILOMETRES
(700 x .15) / 7 = $15

GAS
($70 x 3) / 7 = $30

HOTEL
TBD. I checked with Days Inn just for a point of reference and it was $110 per room per night. So we’d need 2 rooms x 2 nights for $440 / 7 = $63

Incidentals are up to everyone. Preliminary total is around $140 in mandatory costs. I typically take $200 with me to Montreal and have never had a need to use all of it. When we get a locked in location we can look for a decent hotel and try to get a decent rate.
