Word, I fucked up midway and accidentally switched weapons and lost the chaingun. Then after I had cleared everything I went to far on the tracks and got hit by the train as I was walking backwards…
Also that weed farm seems like it only triggers for trevor.

You can switch back to the chain gun, it was in the same set of weapons as the Rocket Launcher and the RPG (just push left/right to change it). I did the same thing but I got it back.

It doesn’t deserve a 10 because it isn’t a perfect game. While it is a very good game, it does have issues and flaws. Reviewers were too busy riding the hype train.
I don’t give it a 10 because it’s perfect, but it’s a perfect games’ worth of fun. It is the definitive Grand Theft Auto in terms of core mechanics (as flawed as they might still be) and no other GTA comes close. It’s like…on a scale of 1 to 10 I can think of a way the game could be MORE compelling. I think that is the approach that perfect score reviewers are taking.
Like the people who gave Bioshock Infinite a perfect score. They weren’t saying every piece of the game goes off without a hitch, but definitely an amazing enough experience to say this is about as good as it gets.
I tried to play San Andreas again the week leading up to GTA5 and good god that game did NOT age well. Mechanics for everything are just…absolute shit. Soundtrack is better than GTAV tho…

I like V alot. Like, really alot. Like, so much I cant wait for online. But the map size being underwhelming to me and the annoying change clothes of characters when I didnt want them to change clothes irritate me.

Metallic Racing Green, Pearlescent Lime Green. You can do metallic and pearlescent on the same layer of paint. Make secondary colors the racing green. Looks really good on Franklins perma car.

On the topic of the characters, Franklin is a Debbie Downer if you listen to him after he rips the bong. His personality leaves much to be desired.
Michael is just kinda the bad guy trying to change his ways a bit.
I like Trevor because he’s the in game manifestation of the psychopath that I let loose when I play GTA lol. Sidewalks are faster than roads. Lighting things on fire is fun. If I rear end you at 100mph, its your fault for being stopped at a red light, shotgun to your face.

Why is this motherfucker such an asshole to Lamarr. Like seriously Lamarr aint that smart, but Franklin takes starting shit with him past a neccesary point. I dont even think there really is a friendship there. Picked him up to try and go drinking with him, and Franklin immediately starts callin him a bitch and getting confrontational for no reason. Even when he saves lamar from almost being killed by the ballers at the sawmill, dude barely even acts like he gave a fuck that he almost got killed. Fuck you franklin.
Also they really couldve picked a better name for him. Because everytime I hear/see that name, I think of this guy from these books I had when I was little

As someone who grew up with a lot of friends similar to Lamar (Not that crazy but I say 75-80% of him)… FUCK LAMAR. I mean he’s hilarious in the game and what not, but if you want to be real… dudes like that need to get the fuck out of your lives. They aren’t going to do shit but drag you down… and I mean down 6 feet under.

Yeah it has been confirmed since Lost & Damned. Some of the Lost are from there. How extreme it actually is? We don’t know. But I think it is essentially supposed to be a mix of Newark and Philly. And really really shitty.
Well yeah I wouldnt hang around somebody like Lamar in real life consistently. But this is a video game so I like him because of comedic value and he doesnt actually put me in any danger. But what Im saying though is that Franklin has ONE, single friend thats down to ride with him no matter what, and he shits all over him constantly. Lamar may be 100% idiot, but Franklin is a straight dick bag to every person he talks to. That’s a worse personality trait IMO.
