Did my first heist. Still having a blast. Bout to catch wife aggro over it though. lol

Came down with a cold yesterday and had a massive headache but that ain’t stopping me from waking up late at night to play.
The first heist was pretty fun. The crew I assembled looked like something out of Fast & Furious lol. One of the dudes crashed his bike but not sure if that was a scripted event or a consequence of me cheaping out with choosing a crappy member so I can get a higher cut. Now Imma spend that 200k on pimping up my black Porsche and conquer the Wangan Midnight Club.
Is SRK gonna put a crew together once GTA Online is up?

If you listen to the dialog, it come down to hiring a shitty Driver (and possibly a shitty gunman) as well. My driver was inexperienced, and he wasn’t calling out directions, and it caused one of my guys to crash, losing me a hefty profit. It was clearly spelled out because my driver was shit I lost that money.
Of course at the end of the mission Michael said “I shoulda shelled out for a better gunman” but I don’t know if the gunman being a shitty driver or the driver being a shitty leader was the reason"
I started playing the game yesterday and i have to say that i am loving it :lovin:
I have a question, did RS remove the limits of place that you can access based on the story progress? I don’t know if is because the map is so huge but i have not find any barrier like in previous games.
BTW, in my 1st hour of play i found a “Bugatti Veyron” :tup:, the only thing that annoys me is that sometimes i have to reload the game because car dissapears from the garage

I hired the good driver and he did very well, it was the gunman who I cheaped out on and crashed. Forgot if they have a driving stat but just wanted to check if anyone else finished with their whole crew together.
I did but I thought I picked the guy who crashed. You get more $ for yourself if he does and you pick it up.
I did the Yoga mission really late and Trevor showed up at my house. I saw the yoga miss ion last week on youtube and this wasn’t expected.so instead I chase Lazlow. Same thing with the tennis coach mission. I entered as Franklin instead of Michael and only saw half the scene.
good to know, it must be the gunman then not the driver.

I drove to the rich part of town…stole a rich car, drove it to that college or whatever, vinewood cliff or bluff? nothing up there so I shot up the students and then drove into the mountains to lose them…now im driving a ford gt40 lookalike in the mountains and it starts raining…car spins out and gets hopelessly stuck, now im on foot, its raining, and im in the middle of nowhere. I dont cheat and set a waypoint or anything i try and get out myself. fall down a cliff into a river of rapids, end up next to some old ass van. drive that shit back to the city, robbing a gas station on my way, end up at the beach and swim. go back to my van, drive back to the hood and get back in my car, go to suburban and buy a new outfit.
what a day!

Lol didn’t know I could grab the loot as well, I stopped my bike beside the guy thinking I could pick HIM up. Dude just laid there motionless so I was like fuck it.

The first heist is planned by a fucking genius though. Most people pick the silent approach because everyone knows thats how you maximize profit in a heist. Thinking you won’t really need the gunman, you pick the cheap one so you can get more cash. They use the opportunity to teach you that your crew may need to do more than what was outlined, and have that guy eat shit on a dirt bike. Right now it seems like EVERYBODY had the gunman take a spill on the getaway. Also that guy better have died. Because if he lived he aint getting hired ever again.
I also had fun playing “Bad Repo-Man” earlier. What I do is I get a tow truck, tow a car, take it to a cliff, back up and unlatch the car. Watch that shit go alllllllllll the way down.
Also I’d be down for the SRK crew. Obviously there has to be two versions though because of console split. You motherfuckers better not cheat me out of my cut of heist money though.
And if you guys havent gotten stabbed yet, that shit hurts. I was running around hitting people with exploding punches and this one baller ducked my punch and stabbed me in the gut. Took half my health and killed me.

The very first time a playable protagonist has been killed…by anybody. Kind of sad to see Johnny go out like that tho.

Yeah i think it was kind of fucked up how they did Johnny like that. It couldve been worse though, there are many more likeable characters that couldve happened to. I think it was more of a shock factor though. Because R* said “You see this character from the last game? This one right here? FUCK this character.” Then right afterwards they did a Lamar and went “Neeeeeiguuuuuhhhh”. Honestly though when it happpened I was like man that sucks. But i wouldve been actually angry if that happened to like Luis, or Gay Tony, or Packie or something. Also Brucie Kibbutz is in the game as a Bleeter personality. Ya know the twitter knock off?
[Spoiler=] Don’t think that’s true guys. Vice City Stories’ main character (Vance’s brother) was killed in his last mission by Tommy iirc. Which starts off Vice City. So you kill a MC without even knowing in VC. But most people didn’t play VCS. [/details]
