That is what I am looking to order. I have been in contact with the seller and also maybe there is a chance we can get a special rate if there are enough of us to buy the covers!

I hope most of you have received your TE’s by now. The purpose of this thread is pretty self explanatory. Group buy = save on shipping costs.

I am going to cap it around 15-20 units before I make the order.

If you have problems trusting me, there are many other members here on the board who can vouche for me. I have been around SRK for a very long time (see join date) and am known to the community very well.

I was going to buy one of these for myself, but didn’t. It is a nice option, but 1/16" will stick up above the edge and you will feel it with your wrist. I used a guy from the USA to get a laser cut 1/32" lexan cover made. I got his information from another customization post. It went in the mail today. I will post some pictures when I get it in about a week. The stock plastic is 1/32" lexan so this is a perfect option. Price isn’t that much different and you can customize the holes as well. I went with the right 6 buttons only, $25.00 each + S&H, I ordered two so I have a spare.

Jay, instead of keeping a list like this, do you want to post it on a group buy site? There are some tools that will make the group buys easier to transfer to the seller later on. Noob question. why would someone need to get this? what are the benefits? or is it just strictly for the look?

They protect the stick. The plexi cover can be eventually replaced, and it absorbs all the scratches/wear that occur on the face of the stick.

the purpose of the plexi cover is to protect the custom artwork that you place over the original stock design.

i am also very surprised that over on the redflagdeals forum, (mostly casual SF4 players) were able to put together TWO group buys of about 15 units each!

So my plexi came in today. Pretty fast shipment, only took 3 “working” days.

I obviously assumed too much and didn’t bother reading the link. I have the PDFs for the panels that vocalninja cut for me but the company you’re getting plexi covers for doesn’t do custom orders yet.
