WOW… This is a very very random thread. Well anyways considering that Mixup has free Evol tickets from that whatever tourney. We should have a 5 on 5 grudge match between EC and WC to determine which coast has the better Magnus. 5 of your greatest Magneto players versus ME, Sanford Kelly, Josh Wigfall, Mixup, and some other guy that we will think of later probably Desmond Pinkney. So yah this will probably take place during Friday morning. And this will be like Japanese rules. For example: The way they ran 3S at last year evol. If Soo goes first then he fights everyone from the EC once so he fights me, then so on and so on. And after when Soo fights everyone the next WC Magneto player will join in. Oh and one more thing I should ask how can we do this. Should we just focus on Magnus vs Magnus meaning no assist or use assist and when Magneto dies you lose. I rather prefer Magnus vs Magnus because that determines more skill and not relying on the helpers. So tell me what everyone thinks about this idea?

Justin: Interesting idea. I like the 5 on 5 format. I just don’t know about the whole “Mag only vs. Mag only” thing, because that could get complicated. If someone accidentally calls an assist, or DHC’s from habit, then the match would have to be restarted, or whoever made the mistake would have to automatically forfeit the match. That could just get ugly. Plus, I think most Magneto would feel strange not having their assits and wouldn’t play to their full ability. And to see who’s better, don’t we need everyone to play to their full ability?
The way I see it, there’s four different ways each match could be played. I’ll go ahead and list them here (including the way Justin mentioned). Then I guess you guys can run it however you want. Anyway, they are:
1). The matches could be played in the arcade, and each player can choose any Magneto based team (MSP, Mag/Storm/Cyclops (Sentinel should probably be banned from being on teams)). The match would proceed like normal.
2). The matches could be played in the arcade, and each player must pick Magneto and two other characters. The player cannot call assists, DHC, etc. The match ends when someone’s Magneto dies.
3). The matches could be played on a Dreamcast, and each player must choose three Magnetos. The match would proceed like normal.
4). The matches could be played on a Dreamcast, and each player must choose two Magnetos, and an assist (Mag/Mag/Psy, etc.). The match would proceed like normal.
Anyway, just thought I’d throw that out there. Vote or whatever you guys want to do.

i think it would be better if you just play the matches as normal, whatever teams you want to pick. so just pick 5 wc mvc2 players and 5 ec, and just do the US vs JAPAN style.
