That is awesome.

My best moment was today, I threw out an ultra on a second round against a akuma trying to predict one of his fireballs, but I predicted his raging demon, and hit him with my ultra. So when I’m in the corner he thought I might jump or something so I guess he ultra demoned AGAIN and I was in the middle of a sky high claw, went over him and hit him in the back, it was pretty hilarious how it look.

had many great vega moments but today i was playing Boxer - stunned him removed my claw then my mask and beat him to KO

I didn’t have that great Vega moments up until a few weeks ago. I was playing this Ryu and at some point of the round I got into my sweet footsie range. This is basically what happened:

  • I walk forward and stuff a normal of his on startup with cr.mk, then immediately proceed to push him back with a st.hp.
  • The guy instantly retaliated with a cr.mk, but he wasn’t in range, so I waited. And he did it again, just as I predicted - I let that cr.mk whiff, walk up -> kara throw.
  • He wakes up, I do cr.lp -> kara throw.
  • He wakes up, doing nothing. I wait a bit, then st.hk and catch him trying to jump out, he gets reset, I walk up again, tick him with st.lp, walk back, then cosmic heel his counterpoke attempt.
  • He wakes up, I meaty him with cr.mk, step back, let his cr.mk whiff again and counterpoke with st.hk lol!

In the second round he was so afraid to push buttons that I threw the shit out of him. He was literally just sitting there and blocking once I got into cr.mp range.

Its funny cause I had a great moment against a Ryu player just yesterday. I got a double perfect, using mainly CH, pokes and counters and a few Izunas here and there, and FAs.

I was jumping and ryu hit his ultra , jumped at his back removed my claw then light punch and ko :stuck_out_tongue:

#2 Taunt against full screen boxer. Naturally he rushes in with EX-Dash Punch and I punish with ultra. Taunts are underrated in a match, they mind-fuck some opponents so badly.

Full screen ultra punishing random jabs is also a great feeling. Probably the best moment for me was beasting a Sagat player that used to kick my ass. I believe the final score was 40-15.

Side note : If an opponent is dizzy in the corner and has close to no life left, get as close as you can to them, remove claw, immediately hit them with close St.Mk, and PPP backflip cancel it.

Vega will backflip and as soon as his hands are hitting the ground from the first flip, the claw will also just be landing on the ground and you’ll pick it back up. All while your opponent is crumpeling to the ground in slow motion. Looks awesome.

EDIT : Almost forgot. I’ve actually had a guy rage-switch to Vega because I was whooping his Ryu. It was almost as if he thought Vega was cheap. Naturally he tried to reverse with EX-ST everytime on wake-up and got destroyed. Good times.
