Ya I like it alot. It’s kind of funny that I got saved by getting dizzy but whatever. I’ve had better moments but this one I caught on video so it’ll have to suffice. I’m not big on fishing stories lol.
Oh I have one, when I first decided to main Vega (I wasnt very good, too many FBA’s) I went to a local Anime convention and kicked everyone’s ass and won the tourney, fought againts a horde of Zangiefs and ryu’s… feels good man.
I’ve got a tourney this saturday, so hopefully I can have a greatest Vega moment there…
So many Blankas, Chuns, Zangiefs and Bisons that it’s going to be extremely difficult. And arguably the best Cammy player out there, to boot…
How is this possible?
I don’t play Vega much, but my most memorable time was when I being knocked silly by this Gouken, I lost my claw. He taunted when I got up, waiting for me to take my claw (I had 25% health left).
I picked it up and threw it off right after, I wasn’t going to let him pull that shit on me. I got a clawless ultra out and beat him.
I basically focus attacked every move. Focus attacks give you ultra meter. Im good with the focus attack in general, but it helps when the opponent just throws hadokens for the first part of the match till I had ultra lol. Then its all a matter of getting a perfect, and ending it with an ultra kill. Unfortunately the win only counts as a perfect and not both a perfect/ultra kill lol. Same with a super kill/ perfect or a chip/perfect kill. I finished the round with my life still glowing from all the focus attacks lol. However even if alot of your llife is glowing it still counts as a perfect (the game counts it as a perfect that is) if the glowing part still touches the end of your bar.
Oh okay, thats pretty cool haha. Never thought about using focus attacks that much, seems risky, if you get hit you lose all the grey portion of your health.

It’s not necessarily a greatest moment, but I love it when an opponent taunts me from far away and then gets hit by a FBA. Then I just step back and make sure they see Vega LOL. I then make sure to LOL every time they get dropped from the sky.
Defeating in 2 rounds, and with a pinch of energy, a Gouki who was so obviously better than me.
I Ultra’d him on the first round, after some tight demon flip predicting, and then on the second round, i just baited a red ball and EX-Walldived him FTW.
As i said, the thing is that im still a scrubby scrubby Vega, and he was so much better than me. I felt really good afterwards.
Also, today i got my first two ragequits!
An extremely proud Vega moment for me this moringt…I was watching a Woody Allen film late last night and decided to have a G1 fight on every ad break, I won a Championship by the 4th intermission! Feeling lucky, I decided to try his hard trials… After 11 months pf trying, I FINALLY COMPLETED THE 1ST HARD TRIAL!!! I was high-fiving and dancing with myself! After that, the rest fell like dominoes…I had completed all the remaining trials within 10 minutes and got all his pictures and titles. I decided to stick with the one I’ve been using already though(the ‘Snake’ icon and the ‘Devilish’ title)…
PS: My epiphany was to try the 1st trial without his Claw, it is without doubt, his hardest trial…

My favorite claw moment came in either a player match or an early G3/G2 match, I forget. The guy I was facing had a mic and we were chatting during the game. Anyway, he started getting frustrated and suddenly took an angry tone of voice after repeated claw pokes:
Him: "YO THAT FKING CLAW I HATE IT! TAKE OFF THAT FKING CLAW, ITS SO CHEAP!"
Me: I input the take-off-claw command
Him: "…WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT???"
laughter on both sides
In fact, this might have been the defining moment of Vega becoming my main, haha.
I haven’t had enough experience to go "Greatest claw moments"
My favourite at the moment was proving to a friend of mine that Cosmic heel into Scarlet Terror was possible (They refused to believe it) by actually beating them with it.
I made a Rufus rage quit on me today. Izuna vortex, fat ass?
