Gerzil is a weird cycloptic alien with some bug-like qualities. I tried not to borrow too many elements from HR Giger but some of his influence definitely crept in. As for the movement, I was going for creepy and erratic.

It wouldn’t be the first time a Grace Jones lookalike has appeared in a fighting game.
All these strong independent women in fighting games lately. I love it.

@PSYCH0J0SH yea the name rubs everyone the wrong way. Also i feel like rebranding might help after the failed kickstarter.
I like “Gravity Breakers”, now THAT’S a name.
I don’t know if branding was your problem though. You should try to build up a community first, then go to kickstarter.

I don’t know if I’ll ever attempt Kickstarter again. I hate begging for money and the whole process is nerve racking.
“Gravity [something]” does have a nice ring to it. “Disturbing the 'verse” still works, perhaps as a subtitle or tagline or whatever.
