I’ll start putting stuff in there tonight, I’ll include all the Baki stuff I have and other martial arts manga stuff that I’ve accumulated, and will share the folder. (If anyone wants me to put extra stuff in there such as the Itagaki interview or anything else let me know)
The only differences is the fact that this manga is more self aware than most. Pretty much most fighting comics do this shit with the in fight dialog with constant word and thought bubbles everywhere. The whole genre is anything but silent film in it’s delivery. The whole thing centers around fighting so why say it isn’t fighting manga because you got lost in the conversation. Just be glad that it doesn’t use the whole flashback device nearly as much as these other comics.

Anyone here ever read the Oriental Heroes series? It’s a long time running series from Hong Kong. The movie Dragon Tiger Gate is based off of it.
All the Hanma Baki - Son of Ogre volumes, up to volume 31, take up about 2.6GB on my hard drive. All of these are available on the net pretty easily. I would be more interested in the earlier series. Anyone know where to fetch them?
