I love how the author always lets a new boss have their fun for a while, then says “OK, that’s enough” and brings in Yujiro to bring them down a peg or two. Also the recent translated chapter of Baki Dou had me dying from the way they were bigging up Yujiro;
“EVEN HIS OWN BIRTH HAPPENED BECAUSE HE WILLED IT. HIS MOTHER DID NOT GIVE HIM HER BREAST. HE TOOK IT.”
EDIT: Hold on, waitasec, Spinyback released 2 new chapters a day ago, time to check them out.
I have a question for you all. I was wondering who do you all think would win between Yuuujiro (spelling) and Deap Sea King from One Punch Man (fully hydrated btw). I asked in a few groups and it came down to a toss up.
Dude makes people piss themselves just by being in their presence, and it’s not like we’re talking about jobbers. Established martial artists who can fuck up 99% of the world.
Right, and judging from what Deep Sea King did to Genos and tons of other heroes tells me he isn’t a scrub either. Yuujiro most likely will take it, but he was the only person I could think of against DSK. Well maybe Doppo and Oliva as well?
Deep Sea King is strong, but he had some trouble against Genos, and ultimately came out on top because of Genos protecting a child.
Carnage Kabuto would probably beat Yuujiro though. Dude flat out only lost because Saitama is Saitama. If there was no Saitama then the world would be fucked.
I think the two should be assessed based on what they represent not their “power levels” which are only relevant in their perspective and contextual universe.
Yujiro vs Saitama would a more relevant discussion. They represent the steongest being in their respective worlds and they both have character qualities that have allowed them to transcend their respective environment. Yujiro’s pure badassery vs Saitama 's genuineness
I meant compare the two in how they fit in their respective worlds. I say Saitama trumps Yuji-kun because he is still peerless in his world and actually contributes to how the world is portryed whereas Ogre-kun got “surpassed” by Baki-san and is just there as some insurmountable force. I’m still not certain on how that played out.
That is why I was wondering as well. Didn’t they fight? And basically it was like yuuji was playing with baki. I may have to go back and read it again.
To my recollection, they fought and it was an exchange and the whole gimmick explanation where his body becomes like a cockroach then he’s flipping imaginary tables then doing nunchucks with Baki’s body then I forgot then suddenly Yuji-kun suddenly says he surpassed or handed down the title of strongest creature.
Is there a place I can download scanlations as a rar or zip to look at on my phone rather than reading page-by-page online? (all I can find are raws in archives) I don’t have time to read manga at home, too much other stuff to read/watch/play. That’s why I’m so far behind as is. I haven’t even seen Retsu die yet.
I used A+ Manga for iPhone. I like it a lot, and it is categorized by genre. They have an ignorant amount of martial arts manga. It doesn’t allow you to download the series first though.
Lol. Yuujiro acknowledged that Baki is on the same level as him. The only person who can actually give him a fight, and not have it be a boring piss fest, and now Baki has to deal with having no peers to compete with. Except now anyways.
