On The Breaker: New Waves point, I don’t think the Elder is trying to pass by this guy so much as trying to throw him off. I’m sure he’s aware of what this guy is trying to do.
Is there is a point to this chapter of New Waves? Because I was expecting more Shioon and the 9AD.
Of course there was a point: exposition. Granted, they could have done a ‘voice’-over and shown Shioon and the scrub fighting instead of the old niggas, but this was fine, too since both of the old niggas have a reason to end the fight here. And what’s worse, if the Elder dies here, Shioon better not find out or he WILL go into Black Beast mode, just like when the other Elder died.
That knee Samart did made me cringe.
No wonder there’s another 20-25 volumes left.

That’s what I love about minoru, it’s a simple manga that’s all about realistic fight scenes that get straight to the point without any long winded back stories or flashbacks or some bullshit plot no one cares about. Does this manga even HAVE a plot? LOVE it!
Now if only those greedy fuckers will start releasing Teppu chapters again…
