Man I blew up one of the trucks and ducked a 2 star wanted level afterwards.
20-25 stacks of money comes out those trucks man, but it basically adds up to only 1 or 2 grand. But hey, still fun! Still money!

lol i 6starred in one of those and lagged the shit out of my game. they just kept sending wave after waive of hummers and police cars to trap my tank. i noticed that there was no dmg showing on my car so i just kept smashing into everyone like it was bumper cars. then for some odd reason my gas tank exploded and i died immediately, despite no dmg on the outside.
Finally beat the game. I chose “Revenge.”

saints row is a very good game but I put it in yesterday to check out the differences…
they have put A LOT of effort into the construction of GTA4 I realise it even more now, just by what they have created they diffenetly deserve the highscore.
I think we’re just spoilt when it comes to fun games, GTA4 has opened a new door for a new standard

With all the details put into the game, I’m surprised Rockstar slipped up on one. Saigon mentions New York in the joint with Joell Ortiz. I dunno, maybe they should have edited it or used a different song.

i officially say… i love this game. especially the story line. Rockstar has yet to let me down wit the story line… but let me add what would of been an icing on the cake wit the story line:

remember in San Andreas they linked the past wit the present… they had the lawyer from vice city (included in the story)… they had claude from GTA III (you found out his name!!! an why he went to liberty city) the broad that double crossed claude (you were in love wit the crazy hoe)… the radio was mentioning things from the past… the mafia from GTA III made an appearance… it was a lot of tie ins within the game. that is the only thing mission from this… i see small tidbits such as lazlow mentioning his past in vice city an san andreas… the republican guy mentioning the war with austrailia (see GTA III)… an that depressed chick that hosted the old rock station in San Andreas… but only a small amount… nothing in a way giving closer to past characters or events like San Andreas did… u just have them their like the mafia crib in alderny… how did that go about them falling off like they did?? sure its a fresh story line… but so was SA an they tied things into it to keep the world of GTA together… maybe thats just me cause i enjoy a good story line an how people make things tie in together n can bring back memories of the past…other than that… fuccin good job on the story line… i definitely would like to know who wrote this one.

Would have been nice to read up on what happened to Tommy Vercetti. And ever since that mission in GTA3 where Donald Love disappeared, I knew there was going to be a future game where he would show up… but since VC and SA took place prior to GTA3, I didn’t expect it to happen in either. Plot wise, I mean… part 3 was only 7 years ago. Could’ve had SOME connections.
Some guy on IGN said he was flying a copter far out into the ocean for 15 minutes. He thought he had hit an invisible wall at some point cause the scenery wouldn’t change at all, but then he said flying back took a very long time… meaning, all that water is actually open space. Now it has people believing the DLC could potentially be another island that takes up some of that space.

[details=Spoiler]Supposedly, the main characters from the past games are all dead. I don’t remember what interview it was but someone asked about the inclusion of past characters. They gave an answer along the lines of, “They’d most likely be dead anyway.” This could tie in with the more realistic approach, where this lifestyle isn’t so glamorous anymore. They could have eventually been killed due to all the mayhem they had caused.
Also, there’s some graffiti here and there that is filled with names of dead people. The best place to look is in the building across from the Bohan safehouse. When you walk in, look to left for a bunch of names in black. It will have the names of all the past characters in there.[/details]

just too much you could of ‘worked in’ to keep this GTA universe together in a sense… at that rate lazlow should be GONE… some of the elements from past games shouldnt be added… just sayin it would of been perfect. nonetheless i love the story… sumin new no doubt. but man if you could of incorporated some of the past… too good. they didnt even have to be major just a cameo.
the no tie ins upsets me as well. i wish they wouldve had at least carl in the game or something, or tommy vercetti
they made it like its a different cannon what made the story even more interesting imo was the tie ins.

i completely forgot about that whole add on… they left them out as well… sure they got the stinger from the old gta… but ya need those gangs that were already part of liberty city… remember in the old one when u couldnt walk around certain parts witout getting in trouble or a fight??
yeah i miss a lot. so much for the story that could of made this the best yet. i guess they (rockstar) are starting over an the next one in line will include nico bellic an people in relation to him… but no dialog has pointed to that like in other chapters…
