They’re definitely nerfing the top 5, despite what some people want to believe. Soriz has holes in his game but he can still compete. I hope they do something with his install next patch because it’s very gimmicky right now. I think that’s the main area I’d buff him - the payoff for activating it isn’t good enough.
Seems like the install would’ve been better as an alternate super. Having you’re BIG deal super be that feels kinda meh.
Plus it isn’t just that he installs and then he is good to go; its that he has to set up the install by absorbing random hits. Haven’t researched how much pay off he gets from getting all 5 icons before the install.
He gets a 40% damage reduction during the install if he gets 5 stocks. The problem is you’re at 30% or less health at that point so you’re already close to death. When he activates he’s usually giving up damage/oki to do it. Would have been nice if he could cancel into it like a v-trigger and be plus. There might be some set-ups for the raging demon in the future, but right now it looks gimmicky.
I like his game outside of that though, I think they just really need to look it at his install stuff.

Soriz install should either have really fast startup or give it invul frames
A good idea would be to have a mixture of the two dependent on how many stacks Soriz has, with max stacks giving a reduction in startup/some invul frames.
With Ronin tomorrow, I’m taking Charlotta into bracket play. My Soriz is too dependent on SSBA and shenanigans, but I’ll keep Ferry as a pocket for certain characters I’ve come across that my Charlotta can’t compete with (Katalina and Soriz are the main two).
I thought ronin rumble started 30 mins later than it did so i got dq’d to losers, then lost to 3-4f mexican soriz dash punching in top 32 
also i found like a bunch of useful stuff(and a bug) today just messing around. I’m good at fight game.

You never answered my question about tour impression fo Soriz as a character.
i feel like he has a few strong things, but I don’t think he’s particularly good. Getting CH trying to slide M dash punch in 4f of lag notwithstanding, i feel like he has few actual ways to hit people other than to make hard reads.

I really liked the chip damage aspect of him. That and I’m a sucker for punchy guys in games full of weapons.
He felt like a character that really gets the most out of studying specific situations against the cast to maximize your interactions.
Ah oh well. Might still mess around with him a bit and see how he feels playing online.
So, those of you who have Granblue on PC … what do you think about Soriz and Djeeta?

Also, how do they approach Soriz in a constructive way? His U and SSBA just don’t seem usable which really is a shame.
I think the ssba is what they are going to be buffing. Hopefully his stacks do something meaningful.

Played Sajam today on his stream. He won the set, but I pulled a game off him with the Potato.
He walked right into a SSBA though, and that shit had me

I have been playing Narmaya since the game released, now I’m moving onto other characters, I’m trying to play Percival, since so far he’s my favourite character looks wise, but I’m quite ass at him.
I’m also doing some Zeta and Zooey, kinda also having problems with Zeta, while Zooey is coming natural.
I’d also kinda like to learn the Potat and Vaseraga. I try to play Vas every now and then, but I just don’t get what am I supposed to do.
