Don’t quote MC187, as I don’t want to read his retarded crap.
playseats are too expensive… if they were around $250, I’d get one
As of now, I got a G27 but nothing to set it on, maybe I’ll go to walmart sometime and find something

TV dinner tray is what you can find on the cheap. Or you could just use your ironing board.
GT Academy is now open for registration. Doesn’t matter if you know you won’t do well, just joining might net you some free GT5 swag.
News: Play Gran Turismo 5 on PC - via new B-spec mode - ComputerAndVideoGames.com
For reals? I will be playing it at work to earn cash and rank up. I wonder if it will work on android browsers.
I’d totally join since I’m a Nissan fan, but I’m not a US citizen. Shucks.
Do you guys know how to change the settings of a car to make it a bit more stable?
I got the Nissan Skyline GT-R SPECV '09
With every possible upgrade I could get from the tuning store. It’s now 826 BHP/7400 RPM. It’s fucking fast but at the costs of a little bit of stability. I have lowered the car -5 both front and back, but not sure what else to change.
Any suggestions?
The hell do you need that much power for? Anyway, adjust the camber a bit, soften/harden springs, tweak the lsd. It’s hard to know what you mean by “stability” with no examples.
just get a zr1, soft tires and dont worry about "stability issues"
fat jap cars
not only is this a good car but once its fully tuned and has the racing mod it will help beat like the wind wen u adjust the settings right
Just bought a driving force GT this weekend. Makes all the difference in the experience. This game cannot be truly be felt without a wheel. My entire sunday was playing this game. But if you’re going to use a pad, I don’t see how you can use the default GT set up UNLESS you use the right analog for gas and brake.
Using the gas and brake as X and square does not provide the same level of control as a pedal (obviously) or the right analog or the shoulder buttons. But the problem with the right analog is you can’t gas and brake at the same time.
If I use pad, I change it to Forza Style controls.
L2-Brake
R2-Gas
Square-Shift down
Circle-Shift up.
How much money did you pay for yours, and where’d you buy it?
The only one’s I see online cost a fucking ridiculous price, and are on Ebay with like 40 or 50+ bids down on them.
I think Amazon had them for 99.99 not too long ago, I bought mine for 112. No shipping, no tax, amazon. Or you could go to Gamestop and shell out 140 after CA tax. Well worth it just like a joystick to fighting games.
I saw a deal for a refurbished Driving Force GT for $50 last month, I was contemplating whether or not I should take the risk until someone bought them all. :bluu: I’m not in a rush to buy a wheel though, so I’ll wait until some deal pops up…for now I’ll have to make do with shifting with the right analog.
To each his own, I guess.
+1 to evilj comparing it to a stick, and with Logitech’s wheels you definitely get what you pay for. My DFP has lasted me the last 6(?) years, and the only thing wrong is sometimes the brake pedal acts a little wonky. That new Thrustmaster they showcased looks fuckin’ sweet too.
The beginning of my GT5 photo gallery. Features my Spirit R in abundance, was learning the camera.
similar controls but it sounds like I need to find a good table to get my wheel setup. Been playing online in the japanese region and it seems like a good majority just have drift sessions like IRL. If anyone watched the video option vids, it’s just like it. People’s PSN names correspond to the drift team name, & in the game, they would sometimes park in uniform & hang out & watch other teams drift. It’s entertaining to see that and they are VERY good at drifting in this game. Makes me want to start practicing drifting in the game, used to think the drifting is bunk in gt5 but it can be done and looks amazing
Fellas, I am selling the Driving Force Pro for $30 + shipping. Everything is the same as the Driving Force GT, except it lacks the dial for the driving assists. it works 100% with GT5 and PS3. Same motors, same stick, same pedals.

Interested. PM sent.
Damn, you just gave that away for almost free.
Yeah, I have a real license…lol.
This game might be a simulation, but that doesn’t mean it works exactly like real life. In a few of the License Trials, the “demo” uses both the brake and throttle at the same time…that’s where I got the idea.
