Just having a bachelor’s just is not good enough nowadays. Unless you’re in the health field. Once I graduate with my bachelor’s i’m doing my master’s right away.
So I’m on class #5 in my degree program. It’s kinda tough…
Can we merge the two threads? I didn’t realize there was already a thread named Graduate Degree when I made this thread…

I’m currently in the process of applying for graduate school. The one thing I’d advise is to try and make a lot of connections with your professors that related to your major. I’m having a hard time myself getting the necessary recommendations to apply for History. It sound like common sense, but I had around five for awhile. One of my professors died, the other got fired for what I believe was a sex scandal, and another just told me last month he didn’t want to give me a recommendation anymore. I’ve had about 15 different history professors who I realize now I could have had talked to more to have the recommendation in the pocket. All the one I ever asked were really cool about it, and helped walk me through the processes; save for the one who decided to not give me one after all.
all professors i asked (3) gave me recommendation letters right away. One of them asked me to edit it before he printed it out, another printed out a generic template and typed my name in. Your profs are trying to keep you down.
I got my MBA last spring after 2 years or so. It was more of a personal goal than a financial one but at least I can finally check off ‘Education’ in my Achievement list.
Good luck on grad school bruvs! If you have linkedin, make sure to include some of those classes you completed. Makes your profile more pimp out  !
It’s the end of the term and our professor mass emailed us. One of the lines were: “Okay, the best of luck to you all in your future endeavors.” Wonder where WWE got that from…

So… is the degree worth it?..
Why the fuck are you bumping 6 year old threads?
Hey @Pertho what’s the rule on GD for this shit. Bumping years old threads without adding anything of value?
Normally it was usually better to bump threads already with a relevant question than making a new thread. “Use the search function” was basically a battle cry in GD of about as much fervor as “We don’t play fighting games”.
The site doesn’t really have the server issues it used to anymore. But if people are gonna necro threads, at least make meaningful contributions to them. Necroing for the sake of it is kind of silly.
