what would really turn the tide in that fight in my opinion in super is if gouken could do AA kongo into U2 midscreen… wonder if you can? hmm… ill try it tomorrow!
for the cammy matchup i mean. i dunno it just seems to me that denjin is going to be the ultra for gouken no mater what. in any matchup. if it does 80% stun to everyone than i think that if you the correct safejump option on them and they get hit. they lose the game, but whatever. we will see.

cammy has a surprisingly large hitbox when you juggle her so i am anticipating (kongo > fadc > denjin) to work midscreen.
denjin will probably be the ultra to use against her because of her low stun.
ps3 vs xbox is really annoying.
i wish all of the street fighter community could play against one another around the world without lag.

i dont feel like i get enough range from kara backthrow to bother with it.
i could be wrong of course, but most of my setups for backthrow are not aching for a couple of pixels of extra range.
If you safe jump dive kick Abel, he gets a free EX Tornado Throw. If you make it an unsafe dive kick but still meaty, he can’t EX Tornado Throw but he can EX Roll and not get caught by an Option Select throw/backthrow.
The dive kick (one that beats EX TT) has to hit the very edge of Abel’s hitbox to allow for the throw to catch it. He can always focus backdash this or backdash and get a free combo if Gouken tries that particular Option Select. Generally, the match comes down to how well the Abel player can use Tornado Throw and their knowledge of it’s properties. Another big thing is that if the Abel player can consistently land toward + forward > st.fierce, it can shut down jumps and gets him a free combo if Gouken does jump. Gouken is either forced to block or take a risk, and the risk outweighs the reward by a mile.
I’m pretty certain Abel can punish a blocked Palm also, the pushback isn’t that great even from max range ones. Reversal Jab Tornado Throw at the very least.
Here a G2 Championship Final match on GFWL. Ya iam not G1 or SG, thats because i rarely play Championship. Most of the good players are sparring on casuals or going to tournaments rather than doing Championship. But i will start some recordings to it.

Here we go with the next final match Today. Its against a decent Blanka player. I really had to be careful to not get catched by his moves. I couldnt really do any close combats, cause of his thunder.
This time its a better match than those others i uploaded before.

Thanks for that compliment Krazedjunkie. Right now though, Rulez and I are both a bit unsure as to what Gouken should do to counter Dictator’s pressure. Any comments would be helpful. I use Gouken myself, but I haven’t really tried to fight against a Dictator that know what he is doing.
As to gameplay comments. A little too heavy reliance on EX demon flips in our matches. If they are done on wakeup all I need to do is take one step forward then press HK when Gouken flies past me. Try to apply pressure and use more normal throws. Keep up pressure when you have the initiative, but stay away from my cr.LK range if possible.
As for myself, sloppy hit confirm combos. I end these with LK Knee Press when I should be using HK Knee Press. Safer, but his cr.LP, cl.LP, cr.MK xx Knee Press combo is a very easy chain. I lose out 30 damage per combo this way, which matters in the long run.
