i believe my experience with crossing up cammy on wake up with j.mk is similar to what sephiroth has said.
it just seems to get drilled every time.
jumping at cammy feels very unsafe unless i am going for a cross up df kick after forward throw, c.hk or ultra.
she is forced to block the df crossup on those occasions.
Sadly I try to do it even though I realize I’'m risking an autocorrect reversal. It’s pretty tough to maintain momentum on her. Does her SRK have more invincibility frames than a dragon punch? I have better luck crossing up shotos than her.
Wake up EX demon flip even gets beaten out by her SRK because its long-ass active frames.
The spike makes up for the slower startup with invul frames and HUGE active frames. 1-4 on lk and mk, 1-5 on hk. lp SRk is 1-2, the rest are 1-4. The rest is probably more dependent on the hitboxes than active frames, since those only matter WAY after a crossup attempt. And though we don’t know Cammy’s like we do Ryu’s, it’s probably pretty dicey just going from the differences in what the models actually do for the moves.
Frankly, the invul frames mixed with the startup only seems to be relevant to whiffs, as the invul frames for most purposes negate the startup in terms of hits. Shit works so well on Sagat probably because of a mix between his lanky hitbox and because his active frames pretty much ARE his startup frames.
i honestly just dont jump at shotos unless im already almost dead…or a safe jump problem is, i think the matchup against ryu is much better than the one against ken. (if you want to see that machtup watch ifc YIPES vs sanford)
i think that match is barelly winnable. yet another very tough matchup vs gouken. defence actually works very well against akuma and ryu BUT ken on the other hand will pick you apart and you cannot keep him out.
EX air tatsu is hard to anti-air so i agree ken can be trouble, but all in all don’t think it’s worse than ryu. Ryu just hurts so much and pressures better than Ken : /
Basically correct guesses are better for gouken in that matchup. However, EX air tatsu is really all he has and that isn’t going to win him the match by itself unless he hits it into ultra.

There are safe ways to crossup Cammy. I’ve posted quite a lot of ways to do this, in fact.
Not impossible just the risk/reward isn’t in your favor imo. If you can do it 100% of the time power to you.

Thanks for posting, I learned a bit as always. A couple of things you have to keep in mind vs. Akuma.
-Use Palm to slide under or through his Air Hado’s to tag his ass when he jumps for the air hado.
-Use the lp hado o.s. when you dive kick, if he has super or ultra instead of palm, when the FB hits you can frame trap with palm or DF options
-When ever Akuma EX DF’s from the other side of the screen be ready to punish with j. mp or your EX Tatsu. EX Tatsu always wins unless Akuma is safe jumping and you don’t have to worry too much about the whiff b/c the EX Verison auto tracks… this works on anyone with an auto track EX move except Bison.

Also how to hell do u time your counters so well lol, I cant do them for the life of me its too hard to telegraph some opponents.

i clean out my friend list every few weeks so there is usually space.
i dont respond to my opponent’s moves with counter, i poke at them with it hoping they will stick out a move.
i think counter works pretty well that way.
also, at some ranges, you know what move they are going to do, like when ryu is at sweep range, you can bet that low forward is coming.
