Ok, i’ll start again. Its a screen grab from the latest promo vid for Super street fighter IV. With all the talk of rebalancing and new moves. Does anyone think Gouken is getting SRK or is it just a Super / Ultra?
What he is trying to say is that, would you be able to use a Super/Ultra in a Bonus Stage? If not, then for the screen cap, Gouken is doing a Shoryuken.
I do hope Gouken doesn’t get a Shoryuken at all, outside his Super/Ultra.

Just seemed strange that you would have revenge / EX meter in a bonus stage and using it would be stupid as the recovery is rubbish - facefull of barrels in no time.
SRK -hmmm. be nice to have wakeup options but would just be weird for gouken now, how would you execute as traditional moveset directions are already taken up.

No life meter and no EX / revenge meter either! So gouken wouldn’t be able to activate his super or ultra as seen in the previous barrel bonus screen.
PLUS. Having super / ultra would be a disadvantage for certain characters… unless Zangief can pick up the car and do SPD with it! hehe.
It’s been stated that the text on the blog actually says something along the lines of, “you can use supers too”. So that is probably his super.

nice rounds. Air focus has to be the most useless shit against blanka. I wish they made his punch off flip more like akumas… would make his demon flip game MAD better. when I use gouken I instantly miss the palm. You should have been baiting his ball for your ultra/super when you had them. Especially end of the first match.
and the blanka is a dick for howling at the moon…lol.
kaoz, i think you held up in the video ok. but for the life of me i can not figure out why u jumped so much on blanka. he must have hit you like 4 or 5 times from your jumps. when i play against blanka, i rarely jump on him simply cause of what i saw happen to you in your matches. hell, i dont even like to approach blanka too much and pretty much let him make the majority of the moves to where he kind of dictates the match. but the one big problem i have with that is he can walk you to the corner, happened to you, and thats where you dont want to be. i like to try and keep the space between us kind of far if i can. he seemed like an aggressive blanka, so that im sure would not be an easy task for anyone.
here are some suggestions i have for ya, take em or leave em, im just trying to be helpful. at that mid-range when blanka can slide under your fb and hit you pretty much on reaction. throw in some S.mps, looks just like a lp.fb. im pretty sure you will recover fast enough to block and punish, i havent tested it though to be certain.
another thing, there is pretty much no need for the air parry in the blanka match either. about the only thing he its gonna work against in your favor is against the up ball, and the chances of him doing it and it not being reversal are very slim. In my MANY matches vs blanka i have only had that work for me one time against the up ball and it was cause the blanka missed his reversal timing, idk what i was thinking to even attempt it honestly. but anyway, i would just throw that out all together.
Furthermore, you do what i used to do in response to the rainbow roll. you either try to block it or it looked like u tried to dash away. try focusing then dashing in the appropriate direction for the punish, works wonders. but, if you do it against his ex version keep a close eye on it cause my experience is they like to drop right in front of you for the grab, hell i see that even if i dont focus. so just keep a watchful eye.
Lastly, it may not be a wise choice to follow your FB with a DF if blanka looks like he is going to focus your fb. blanka can punish you for it with ease, which i saw him do at least once. u may be able to sneak in a ex-DF so you can come kind of on top of him, but he can neutral jump fp you if he sees it coming.
i know you didnt ask for some feedback on this match, but i wouldnt mind if i posted some footage and it was kind of critiqued.
