guys, I played about 30 matches against shiine on xbox live yesterday and had my ass handed to me in a plate with salad.
I was pretty much all the time close but he clutched me out every single match. it was beautiful seeing him play, his gouken is the best I’ve played against by far!
i took a match online from him and watched how heavily he relied on ex tatsu as anti but felt comfortable that i could run mixup on him , i really wanted to see his other AA options i only saw him focus on ex and reg tatsu
Just in the first video you never kongo’d any chicken wings. You want to bait that chicken wing and kongo it. You also landed two wakeup EX demonflips then neutral jumped… If he blocks those you have the frame advantage to continue a block string. If he doesn’t, you have match winning power.
You want to throw fireballs from full and 3/4 screen and Ultra or kongo his chicken wing on reaction.
When someone jumps a fireball and it looks like they are going to hit you, do a HP kongo instead of blocking. Almost no one can resist the urge to hit that attack button when they think they are so close to scoring a hit. They probably have to get hit by it at least three times before they wise up.
in the first video u had a full punish at the end of first round and u neutral jump??? and in the end of round 2 you could kongo his ultra… and if u don’t feel like using the EX tatsu for anti air, use instead cr HP…
2nd video way better zoning, try to land rush punch after any angled fireball… need the ANTI AIR crouch HP, by the way you used it at the end of round 2…

3rd video you can crouch HP to hit his wings (again!!! LOL) and you need TO LEARN OS (ME TOO) and PATIENCE, patience
vs fei you need 2 thing (thats what i almost do every time, i dont think he is that hard) zoning game… you need to be always a tree body space from him, throw him fireball to make him do the chicken wing and counter it, or do the EX tatsu… or angled fireball and follow up with rush punches…
safe jumpin every time you sweep or throw, or time it right that he doesnt it you and use the GUOKEN FLIP PARRY to bait him and punish for high damage, because his flame kicks are very good
and play patience because he has a very good or over the top POKES… so try to mixed up with focus or kongo

Basically want to keep Fei out, as hard as that is. You can’t let him get in easy with wings. Once he is in he has a serious advantage over you, so either you had better be on the attack when he is in or working to get him back out.
I did some jump and then nothing because before that he was just flame kick me everytime I tried to do a block string, but if I get it right I am safe to continue attacking after a blocked divekick.
About kongo, there is something weird is just not that strong punch kongo works for every air attack.
I have tried it on practice mode and jumps with very deep attack of some characters can still hit u, for example (deep = fei jumping mp, yun mk) for those kongo with mp works.
This is my Kongo FADC combo (doesn`t work with deep jumping attacks): Kongo Strong Punch, FADC, jump forward mp, tatsumaki (in corner u can go for reset instead of tatsumaki (mp 1 hit)
You are right about needing to guess MP or HP but when someone is jumping a fireball they don’t go for deep jumpins because they don’t want to risk you being able to recover and block. They try to hit you with HK or HP as soon as possible cause you’ll be in hit stun when they land. Always use HP in that situation if you are going to use it.
As for the corner, if you kongo someone and they go flying into or towards the corner and get stopped by the wall at all, you can FADC Ultra or FADC EX fireball > Ultra.
EDIT: I tested out your j.mp tatsu thing and I couldn’t get it to work, but in the corner I got Kongo FADC lp.palm > dj.hk for 320 damage and 460 stun.
Depends on the timing. The one i used in the video the best you can probably do is sweep. There’s a lot of leniency in the timing though. Akuma’s DP has a wider hitbox so I timed the jump as soon as I could. But if you’re playing against ryu/e.ryu/oni you can actually walk further a bit more and jump. You’ll be able to combo cr.hp xx fb fadc whatever and still be safe from his ex dp.
