yeah he’s on xbl, i played him a couple of months ago and i saw a replay of his uploaded to the shinakuma youtube channel recently. he’s really good, i would love to watch you play him. i have some matches saved vs him with my old main blanka but i dont have a capture card so i can’t upload.

also i have a lot of makoto experience, they need to be close, so zone them more than the average char, and I know their dash is intimidating when they focus one of your fb’s to get near but keep doing them until you see them jump because the 2nd one will hit them, they don’t recover in time.
oh and a lot of back dashes/neutral jumps (until they punish) you don’t want to get caught by the command grab, and they are a good way of even baiting it
also mix up the gf’s with a lot of focus ones (if they are a good mak they will do the anti air punch thing on instinct) which will leave you with a free hit for whatever you desire
Dooms is a really good Dutch Ryu and we always see him do well in tournaments over here. He is definitely worth having a go against.
Dont worry dude. I know how difficult it is against really good players. And ya i have many wins on my YouTube-Channel. Its because i want to show the good site of Gouken. Everybody already knows how Gouken can lose really quick, just as me too. That Ryu was only decent maybe, because he missed many combos and opportunities. Still it wasnt that easy to get his gamestyle down like this. In the beginning of our matches he played way better before i got some mixups down. I kinda think he got nervous, because of those mixups. Which isnt that surprising, since not many players know Gouken from the beginning.
For example yesterday, i played against a Pretty good Honda player in a 8 Endless Lobby. He read my Projectiles really good and his footsie game was really scary. It was like, that he didnt had any worry against my Gouken till i got one jump in by my Ultra. After this you could really see how careful he suddenly got. Wherefore i went for the offensive style. I think i got this replay saved aswell.
I have 3 replays of a way better Ryu-Player and also against a pretty good cammy. Not alioune-good but still scary. I think tomorow i will upload one of them.

I was being distracted by my 10 puppies my pit just had, I won my next mat0h with AIR in 2 straight, I zone out a lot if I’m not fully immersed in the fight and spam flip outta habit
And had no clue this was going public. I wanted to see what a player of his caliber does vs my spam, I got my answer our next fight…he left right after…

On a random side note, I miss uploading Bullcat matches, he’s still the best Gouken I’ve ever seen, along with Desora. 
I miss watching the vids of them you would upload. Speaking of which, has anyone found any matches of the current number 1 gouken in AE(a former balrog player)?, Perhaps he isn’t number 1 anymore.

I actually expect it’s probably 35000, you probably don’t immediatly rank down if you drop below the point again(might take a couple thousand before that happens) Someone out there might be more knowledgable

Set your custom ranked battles for opponents with more skill, imo after you get past 5k bp everyone fights pretty much the same, the opponents with higher bp just make less mistakes and they punish you more consistently for doing dumb shit, you also don’t lose so many points losing to a higher ranked opponent vs. Losing to someone with far less bp.

Wow, Desoras pp fell really low. Maybe he’s been playing a new character.
Yeah, he’s been using other characters in Ranked, like Fei.
Also, Bullcat’s current PP is 2969. lol, he hasn’t used Gouken in Ranked in a long time.
Hopefully that will change when AE drops on console, I’d like to think that some jp player will play at home as well as at the arcades, but that may be wishful thinking. I can also understand that it’s probably in their best interest to play another character on home version so as not to learn bad habits with AE, whose bullcat been playing. I believe he plays ibuki as well, but her vortex is different in AE so he’d probably be apprehensive of playing her.
