Though, I remember in Vanilla, and I’ve only done this ONCE in Super, you can stuff Ryu’s DP in the reversal window via DF throw.

i’ve seen that one done too - it’s pretty interesting.
chun li’s j.hk, vega’s j.hp, zangief’s j.mk, ryu and ken’s j.lk there are probably a lot of them that most players don’t bother to learn and much of it has to do with the height at which the attack is executed.
there are also a lot of jump ins that trade with either, like blanka.
his j.hk trades with c.mk if he times it to.
eh shot j.lk loses to c.mk or did in vanilla anyway, cr.fp will trade with gief mk. You are right though, spacing has a LOT to do with it. That’s why it is vital to keep a certain distance from some of these characters, it keep them from jumping. I have certain distances with certain characters that I just do not want to be in because of their ability to jump on me. I know my thoughts are all over the place but with shoto lk, kongo that ish. They know it stuffs c.fp, so the third time they try it, kongo fadc for 300 dmg, then go back to c.fp haha.

tatsu being a hard aa is going to change a lot.

Does lk tatsu trade allow you to c.fp xx flip mixup? Does it reach? Is it good?

If that was Desora I liked the way he played a lot more then the last time. Now if only he would use tatsu as AA 
I really loved the instant palm after fireball to coldcock the FA through the fireball.
except c.hk would have been better; it’s faster with better range and a hard knockdown.
no one is doing anything valuable with lp. palm yet.
desora does his old (crossup j.mk > cl.mp xx lp. palm) which works with the old palm.
i noticed that he was forced to use mp. palm in a lot of situations where the old lp. palm would have been preferable, then the mp. palm doesn’t connect.
like fireball fadc strings that would normally end in c.hp xx lp. palm.
the optimal ending for those strings at that range has been changed from (c.hp xx lp. palm) to c.hk; which is a nerf.
the old lp. palm was a real tool.
on the bright side, (crossup j.mk > 3 frame cl.mk xx lp. palm) might be a legit blockstring that can’t be shoryu’d out of directly after the crossup, which is something that pisses me off every time.
but no one is doing that.
You think c.hk comes out faster then lp.palm in AE? I’m not so sure of that.
I think you’ll love lp.palm online with all the focus fishers.

Yeah, I was thinking that as well if it is 3. I was looking at juicebox’s write up of yang and how mantis is -3 and the palm is -4… Made me start wondering how fast lp.palm was and if they changed it so he actually had something to punish stuff that was normally unsafe on other characters but completely safe on him.
It will be amazing if it is 3 frame startup.
I did notice the mp.palm usage and one place where it missed where lp.palm in super would hit. You also lose the close up antiair fireball into palm, but I’m trying to focus on the fact we have a much faster focus breaker and something to end blockstrings with that is not a fireball.
I know someone here said it destroys crouch techers but kongo already did that. It’s actually one of my favorite things to do
