yeah, where ex palm would combo.
but you can’t try it with a jump in or a crossover because the cl.mp wouldn’t be a counter hit in the training room.
i don’t know if it is going to combo, but i am pretty sure mp. palm has the same combo potential from c.hp that ex palm does.
you’re damn right he’s right.
i like to backthrow into ultra for easy wins.
Hey gouken warriors and gouken fans. Its me your Gouken hero Osiris. Here is some matches on stream at china town fair NY this vid starts at 1:14:50 Justin.tv
Yeah Team spooky is very dedicated to streaming SSF4 AE at the arcade. Shot out to spooky and min very cool guys. For any body who hasnt got to play AE Gouken, he is ten times better then before even with the back throw changes and parry changes he has the ability to rush down and push away characters that Gouken had problems with in the past SF’s. I think with the right training my Gouken in time could stop the rush down BS from characters like Abel ,Bison, blanka, Fei, cammy, etc
Here is another video I found somebody recorded of me in CF
Oh damn Reipin You right What a dunce I am I dont check the forums all the time and I missed that page. SHot out to my boy Rulez naked gemini, Capcoms hero, and all the Gouken players who saw this characters potential to be good. My friend DS says hes a gimmick… hes a rog and bison player even though I had my ass handed to me to PR-ROG one day I will prove my GOuken is his Master
No one ever seems to be able to catch my sarcasm. On topic of air Tatsu, after switching to the Hit Box I can pull them off beautifully. If they made the input easier when AE drops I’ll be able to pull off some air Tatsu mixup shenanigans.
I just played that shit! Lp is dooooooope! I can see it now!!! Greatnesssssss!!! Jmp>tatsu is what I’ve wanted wince vanilla omg! Sorry for the delayed boner!!! Its raw tho now mang!!! He feels almost perfect!!!
Gouken has always had potential. His special moves are ace, and his normal moves are just as dangerous. However, it has all always managed to fall short (with a few exceptions).
Much of his short-comings are now rectified - thank God.
But I am slightly disappointed the Kongo takes the backseat - I thought it was a unique trait that in effect was risky, but rewarding - when complemented by his strong zoning-game.
The back-throw-Ultra is a game-decider oftentimes, when you’ve struggled for a whole minute and finally landed the throw. But it’s a bitch to be exposed to such a simple yet devastating move - that never takes any planning to grant that reward. Fair trade for the buffs he received.
As Iamthatiam would say, or was it Takingflight (I can never differentiate the two); the pain-train has been delayed, but it is now en-route, and is making all stops, and carries a scent of fresh lemon for all who aboard. Welcome.
By the way, Osiris - haven’t seen you on Live for a while. Pop by sometime.
Hi there. Welcome to the Gouken forums, you appear to be new here. LP palm not moving forward at first seems to be a bad thing, but with it’s new speed it’s possible to link off of light normals, blow up crouch tech, destroy focus abusers, provides a quick easy and safe way to build meter, and makes it possible to easily stop things like Honda’s headbutt and Blanka balls on reaction. The lack of forward momentum is a minor set back and unimportant in the long run.
