Cross up dive kick on rolento is pretty easy, aim for the grenade, but cl mp > cr hp > ex palm will not work, much like bs gief. Do cr lk hk tatsu ender after the cl mp
You should land and have 7 frames to act before they stand. You never really said what the hk dive follows so I can’t say, Oh, you’ll cross over or whatever…
I asked because in that anton vs. Elena video that was posted a while back, he was using heavy kick divekick after forward through, without a delay. I thought he might know something we don’t. Thanks for the answers.
Yeah heavy dive kick will hit them up top if late, but if you to it instantly you should land per safe jump or faux. I haven’t seen the video, but that’s what should have happened.
I always use the hard version after forward throw. Some people dash forward, some walk, forward and some stand still whiff a normal or wait and then flip…
Depends on the positioning you want. For example shoto’s you want to hit them up high… but someone like Yun or Guy with EX you want to safe jump them or faux them b/c you can’t really hit the out of their reversals (well you can you just don’t get much out of it and it’s hard to do).
Most others you can hit up high and if they DWU if you time it right you should be able to safe jump them b/c they did DWU.

its her idle animations but the more you start getting closer you should be able to connect at least 4 in a row and a 5th if you stand up or alternate cr for standing at some point , its very situational but rest assured off of jump in they all connect quite nicely, in the beggining it did seem very quirky, I had some combos listed in labwork that were successful with her as I just recorded a match using glfip>dive kick into 4cr lp>st.lp for 6 hits
another good thing about her is that whatever works on her standing generally seems to work on her crouching so not much inconsitency there
edit : but for the most part gotta get in deep to string em all together

in the usf4 biugs and glitches thread they put her shit on blast cuz she can reversal balrogs u1 on block after the 4th hit lol!!!its most likely her breathing or idle animation,.,…last versions maybe still now crouching blanka only gets hit while hes at FULL INHALE w normal tatsus

You don’t have too many options if your jab block strings are going to whiff. You can always opt to end in cr fp > hado block strings but it also pushes you back.
She’s just hard to pressure for free bc of the lp whiff, so if you are relying on lp then you need to play 50/50ish to account for it.
perhaps not he safest but cr.mp for the ch ? ive got decent combos for her once you get in , but getting that penetration from the ground will prove to be a challenge…
edit: I will look to play it kongo heavy up close but them ex gets thru fairly easy if I switch to hado…i will see what happens
