There is a 1.01 version on japan arcade that will go to the console soon

There’s 2 ways to do it.

a.) Look for Technical indicator to delay your dive kick

Or

b.) Is a manual timing that baits or stuffs the reversal, but safe jumps the DWU.

So sick… I will try to get a video up once I spend a little more time with it and figure out what’s going on with Ken’s Dp.

crouching , footsies- I either whiff punished on a female character maybe chun or rose…I thought I remembered pretty well it was 3 hits from lk tatsu from a far lk (my mistake) after a cr lk…looked for a replay ,must have gotten buried … or maybe I was trippin…or

its possible I mistook a cr lk> mk tatsu at 530am , but maybe someone else will find something similar…

but since my input in this forum WAS NOT voted down in a recent Forum straw poll, don’t disregard what I say here cause someone tells you too…be yourself and listen to all sides of the 'gouken story and try or judge for yourself…

cr hp > hk tatsu when used in combos previously whiffed on some shotos and others, im not surprised …hitboxes are wonky and make some" on paper " shit seem impossible and vice versa…

kens are still trying to adjust to hard knockdown centered offense in USF4…

Gouken altogether seems to move and use normals with better consistency when in footsie range…

Tested on ryu:

Crossup mk, cr.lp, c.s.lk, cr.lp xx lp.palm, the lp.palm misses because of distance. Have to cancel into tatsu.
Deep jump in, or deep crossup lk, cr.lp combos for the full combo ending in lp.palm or tatsu if standing.

Does EX reliably hit low? What about non-EX? Did they also get a hit-box buff?

Only EX tatsu got a buff.

To be honest, takin, im not a vehement poster, but i do play G, and know how to, your posts havent ever been helpful to me. Your writing is poor and i understand half of what you are saying, most of the time you confuse me more than you are helping.

Also, just from quick testing red focus doesn’t even connect mid screen from a fireball cancel (i.e. cr.mp xx fireball xx RFDC

Dat EX-Tatsu buff. I’ve won two matches that I would have been screwed on in AE. Not many people playing Gouken, I only have 400bp and I’m the 70th ranked Gouken on XBL…

crossup mk has more pushback overall say than compared to dj hp starter on frontside , in other cases even ambiguous dj hk does some cool shit w reeling , try those out…(frontside tho)

my kid wont give me my damn xbox back…hes 3 and can focus and tatsu navigate menus, play me in vs or training and back out while jacking the controller from me, so try that see if it makes any difference since I wont see my sticks until probably 11pm pst

Yeah Assassin Fist’s was better than I could have hoped. The choreography was top notch, the story was good, and Goutetsu and “old” Gouken’s actors were beyond awesome. If Gouken shows up in another SF title, I hope they give him a Ultra/Super based on Goutetsu’s Metsu Goushoken. I still think it’s a bit ironic that Goutestu is dead but his crazy brother Goma is alive and mocking Ken every chance he gets.

Gouken’s sad face at the end gave me the feels.

I seriously think Gouken is bottom tier after getting bodied/murdered/wrecked/stomped for about 4 hours of game time, and only getting up to 400PP/1000BP (final AE2012 was 3100/13000). The backthrow timing nerf means EVERYBODY techs. Did G’s health go down, because I seem to be getting wrecked a lot quicker than in the past, and the health bar certainly seems to go down quicker. The jabs are nice, but now I find myself mindlessly tatsu’ing all the time. It catches lots of people, but one miss = dead. I miss 2012 already, as I feel this is like a totally different game, as Gouken (after 1 day) doesn’t have a great way of dealing with the delayed wakeup. It might be just me, but standing FP pimp slap seems to have lost priority. Even using both ultras, I still rarely seem to land them in matches.

Outlook, not good.

PS Notes: Ken’s kara throw seems to have an even more ridiculous range. Every button of Adon’s still has priority over EVERYTHING. Decrap’s ex uppercut has an insane amount of priority/invincibility. The Blanka matchup seems even worse except for balls having a little more recovery. Still no tools to respond to ELF while waking up. Guile’s moves seem to have even more priority. Abel is top tier. Guy is still a pain in the ass. Hakan gets wrecked by cr.lp. Juri is a huge pain in the ass with all her buffs. That is all
