There’s so much more, too… did you guys consider that Gouken’s crappy divekick combos to c.MP below the waist (and is a blockstring)? I’m really excited.
There’s a lot of doom and gloom here, which is understandable because right now Gouken isn’t that great and the buffs don’t really seem that big a deal. But we’ll have so many cool ways to use meter (sort of like Gen, low to special to FADC to death), our dive kick can combo to stuff.
Gouken’s mid-range footsies are so deadly in the update and he always has a ton of meter. And 3f jab really helps in defensive situations. New Gouken is going to be something really fun, if not great.
I’d actually like to see a clip of you stuffing Ryu cr.mk and buffering lp palm instead. I want to see if it hits.
Basically throw out the st.lk and buffer palm without touching Ryu. If he does a cr.mk into it, does it stuff him and then knock him back?
No, I tested that extensively. In KBT’s mod, palm does not connect. 
Nothing does, I even tried EX Tatsu.
cr.MP>ex tatsu gives him incredible dmg at far range
we will get DJ.HP>Cl.MP>Cl.mp>CR.MP>ex tatsu …

Above combo works fine on fatties, does not work on Ryu.
Basically it seems that there are two categories: characters where +3 allows c.MP->special shenanegans at max range, and characters where it doesn’t. Those who get big combos like that include Chun Li, Hakan, etc. You know, the usual suspects.
However, the possible range on Ryu etc. is still considerably better than you’ve probably heard… and at the range where c.MP->Hadoken doesn’t work c.LK does… but c.LK works in AE.
Also, if you are really cool, and land close enough with dj.HP, you can combo close MP to another close MP which gives you enough advantage to be able to do far s.LK to tatsu…
dj.HP sc.MP sc.MP s.lk ex tatsu 
gotta land close! and the same damage as c.LK… how much do you want the flash? lol
With the new crouch jab, will it be feasible to do jab > Cr.lp > lk.tatsu > fadc > ultra 1? Or do the jabs make the distance too far for tatsu to connect?
should be feasible to do cr.lp chain cr.lp 1-frame-link cr.lp xx lp.palm or tatsu.

exchanging 1 hit jumping MP->cl. or cr. HP, with just plain LK, just because it’s now cancellable?
making tactics, specifically towards reversal happy scrubs? lol come on…
I think the new LK will make our ground game better - playing footsies with just a single button, and cancel at any time to EX flip for invincibility or some other special for whatever other properties, such as LP Palm for a combo or L/M/H flip for divekick/throw/evade ‘n’ parry. Not freaking reset combos…
